SSS Fresh Bloom Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy, happy Saturday, crafty friends!
I’m suuuuper excited to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp Fresh Bloom Blog Hop! Oh, I love the title, FRESH BLOOM!!

My card today, I am featuring gorgeous Outline Floral Cross Die & Pretty Peonies Background Stamp along with other SSS products.
I started by stamping the Pretty Peonies Background onto watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black. I then watercoloured the stamped images with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel.
Once the panel was dry, I die cut Stitched Circle from the right side of the coloured panel. I die cut the Outline Floral Cross from thick white card stock as well. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Tiny Words Faith Set on kraft card stock in white, trimmed it with the Nested Banners Die, inked up with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I LOVE the new Tiny Words Faith Stamp Set so much. It is a MUST HAVE!!
I mounted floral panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements using foam tape.

Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop. The winners will be chosen over the weekend and post on Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday, the 13th of March. ONE MORE! We have a special promotion for you! Get a FREE Lucky To Know You Die (while supplies last!) with the code FRBLM89 at checkout when you purchase any products at Simon Says Stamp Store.

  4. I love everything about your card. The bright watercolour background, the contrasting use of craft card for your sentiment, the die cut circle subtlety enhancing the beautiful floral cross cut in simple white. It’s a great design and a wonderful piece of inspiration.
