Spellbinders Just Add Color Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends!
Welcome to the Spellbinders Just Add Color Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Emily Midgett’s blog you are on the right track!
I love all of the Stephanie Low’s flower designs but today I’m featuring the Large Peonies Stamp Set – it’s my most favourite set!!
I stamped a flower cluster from the Large Peonies Set on watercolour paper using black dye ink. I used Post-It Notes for masking.
I then coloured the stamped image with alcohol markers.
I ink blended on white card base with Tattered Rose & Picked Raspberry Distress Inks, added water droplets.
I fussy cut the coloured flowers out, then mounted it on the centre of the card using foam tape.

GIVEAWAY!
To celebrate this release, Spellbinders is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes on Sunday, February 24th 11:59 pm EDT. Winners will be announced in our blog hop post the following Monday. Winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes.

  6. The Peonies stamp is my very favourite too & you’ve shown it off with your incredibly beautiful card Yoonsun! The colouring is perfect, & I love seeing loose watercolouring done behind them.
    Thanks!

  7. I love how you’ve coloured the large peonies images and added all the detail. The colouration is stunning and the background colour brings it out so nicely. Simply beautiful card. Thanks for inspiring.

  8. Your card is absolutely gorgeous! What a dramatic difference between pictures of the flowers colored on paper and the finished card with the beautiful background watercolor! Thanks for the great inspiration!

  9. Yoonsun, your coloring technique leaves me envious as I am not that talented. I love the coloring and the simplicity of the card. The raindrop reminds me of a Spring morning with dew on the flowers. Thank you for sharing with us today.
