Spellbinders Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!
(It’s my second blog hop post of the day, for the Waffle Flower Release Blog Hop, click HERE.)
Welcome to the Spellbinders Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Justine Hovey’s blog you are on the right track!

Honestly I love coffee more than tea but just wanted to use green colours to my card so decided to use tea pot rather than use coffee mug :) All Spellbinders tea pot dies are so pretty!!
I die cut Tropical Paradise from watercolour paper first, and then ink blended on the panel with Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Evergreen Bough Distress inks. I then mounted inked panel on white card base using fine tip glue pen.
I die cut a tea pot from white card stock using the Shapeabilities Coffee Brewing Etched dies, tiny leaves from white & green card stocks using the Shapeabilities Stack o’ Cups Etched dies. I then adhered them on the centre of the card front as shown in the picture using foam tape.

Here is a closer look:

To celebrate this release, Spellbinders is giving away a $50 gift certificate to one blog reader – selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes on Sunday, October 14th 11:59 pm EDT. The winner will be announced in the blog hop post the following Monday. Winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes.

  2. What a wonderfully creative take on this release from Spellbinders! Your color choices are so pleasing and the use of Vellum just makes that lovely coffee pot even more delicate.

  3. Ohhhhh your background is beautiful! I love how you added the vellum behind the pot to really bring it all together! The drops and gems are all you needed to complete this wonderful card! So pretty! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Your card is so pretty with the soft tropical colors and feel and the vellum behind the teapot, it’s very elegant. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration. (mardy14@bellsouth.net)
