SSS STAMPtember® Gina K Designs

Hello, hello there! Happy STAMPtember®!
I’m back again with a couple of Christmas cards today using STAMPtember Gina K Joy of the Season stamp & die set.
It’s a beautiful & romantic design set!

I started by die-cutting the Wonky Rectangle panel from watercolour paper, and then heat embossed snow-covered trees from the Gina K Joy of the Season set on the bottom part of watercolour panel in white. Next, I watercoloured between white embossed trees with Pinkfresh liquid watercolors: Sky blue, Sapphire, Lavender, Licorice. I left a lot of watercolour stains on purpose. I also added opaque white ink splatters here and there using Altenew Pure White Ink Spray.

Here is one more white embossed + watercoloured Christmas card with the Gina K Joy of the Season set. I heat embossed snowflakes onto watercolour paper panel in white. I then watercoloured to the panel with Sky blue, Sapphire, and Lavender liquid watercolors, added white ink splatters as well.

Make sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp blog HERE for all the details and inspiration.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

  1. Oh what stunningly beautiful cards Yoonsun – love them both, they are so dramatic with the strong watercolour behind the white embossed images. Using the embossing as a resist really adds to the texture and ‘feel’ of the cards

  2. Oh my absolutely Beautiful Christmas cards Yoonsun! I just adore your watercoloring! Your watercoloring always looks amazing whether you are doing a floral or a background piece.

  3. These are stunning, you are so talented. I wonder if you wet the watercolor paper or just used the liquid waters colors. Guess I’ll look for a technique video. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to you.

  4. This stamp set by Gina K. Designs is such a lovely set for Christmas and you showed it off beautifully with your gorgeous cards!! You have such a natural talent for watercolouring. I love the colours used. It makes for a striking card with the white embossing and the white spray you added to bring some shine. I’ve just purchased some HA liquid watercolours and I’m excited to try them out (and a little unsure too as I’m new to all watercolouring). I know you only improve the more you play. That’s what I tell myself at least, lol
