Hello crafty friends, happy Saturday!
Welcome to the second day of the Simon Says Stamp Friendly Frolic Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Debby Hughes’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I created my own green leafy background with the Plantiful Puns stamp set – one of my favourites among the new products! I stamped leaves & butterflies from the Plantiful Puns set on the wonky rectangle watercolour paper panel using Altenew Sand Dunes dye ink. I then coloured all stamped images with Derwent inktense coloured pencils and water brush.
I’d planned to make no-line watercoloured panel, but then I added thin black lines over the watercoloured images using Copic 0.05mm black multiliner.
For my second card, I used the Leafy Frame die along with other SSS products. I Die cut the Leafy Frame from white card stock. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Handlettered Encouragement set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in white, blended on the panel with Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, and Faded Jeans Distress Inks, and then freely brushed the panel using a wet paint brush.
Once the sentiment panel was completely dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the Leafy Frame on it using foam tape. For the butterflies, I used Flickering Butterflies & Butterfly Drift dies.

For my last card for the hop, I used Sketch Lotus Flowers set & Diamond Pattern die. For the lotus flowers, I stamped it on thick white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, and then coloured it with Altenew Artist Markers.
