PPP May Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Welcome to the second day of the Pretty Pink Posh May 2018 Product Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Mindy Baxter’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I used the Flourishing Fuchsias stamp set as my main supply. I masked all edges of watercolour paper panel using washi tape, and then stamped fuchsias with black pigment ink. I coloured them with Derwent Inktense colored pencils & water brush. For the sentiment, I used the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set.

For my second card, I used the Hugs Shaker die along with the Flourishing Fuchsias stamp set. I die cut it from white card stock five times, then stacked them up using fine tip glue pen. I watercoloured & die cut flowers (from the Flourishing Fuchsias set) and hummingbirds (from the Hummingbird Thanks set) using Distress markers. To finish it off, I added the Sparkling Clear Jewels.

For my last card, I used the Playful Puppies & the Simple Sayings: Life stamp sets. I randomly stamped puppies onto watercolour paper panel using black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Simple Sayings: Life set on black card stock using white embossing powder, then trimmed it down.

GIVEAWAY!!
There are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PDT on 5/14/2018. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

  1. Your cards are wonderful and truly showcase the stamps well. I love all of them, but I love the puppy card the best!!! :) Great job. I will follow you on Instagram to see more of your ideas!

  2. The flowers and birds look really pretty. But the dogs are my FAVORITE!!!! I love how you colored them and gave them personality!

  3. I have so enjoyed this blog hop. So many inspirational cards from one awesome Pretty Pink Posh release. I’m new to card making, have learned some new techniques along the way and have admired all these beautiful creations. I love the effect of the distress markers and that hummingbird is so cute along with all those puppies. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Fabulous cards! Love your beautiful coloring of these awesome new designs! The Flourishing Fuchsias and the Playful Puppies are two of my faves from this fabulous release!

  5. All three of your cards are gorgeous! But I am partial to those adorable puppies (probably because I can kill a silk plant)!

  6. Love all three of your fabulous cards, but the second Fuchsia card with its beautifully water colored flowers and hummingbirds against the all white background is stunning. TFS and inspiring.

  7. Awwww…..that’s what kept going through my mind as I was reading and scrolling down your entry. Each card is so lovely. The colors are great!

  8. I was looking forward to seeing your creation(s), and – as usual – you didn’t disappoint! All three of your cards are absolutely gorgeous & adorable, each in their own way. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing talent, and for the inspiration!

  9. Oh my, I wouldn’t know which one to chose ! Lovely cards, congrats ! (and I also have these cute hummingbirds, that’s a good idea to put them together with the fuchsias !!)

  11. Love the coloring on your cards. They’re all lovely, but my favorite has to be the dogs. So much fun!! Thanks for sharing! Always enjoy your work. Great release!

  12. I love the framing on your first card. It makes it look almost like you’re looking through a window at a bunch of flowers. And I also love seeing the hummingbirds come back. Where there are bright, beautiful flowers, there are hummingbirds! Perfect combo of the old and new. Thanks for sharing with us!
