  1. Such nice cards using watercolor pens. I like how you combined several coloring mediums to made these watercolored cards. Thanks for sharing your techniques with us!

  2. I love this stamp set. The bamboo behind the geisha girl is so well done. My adopted family is Japanese so I have many people who would appreciate a card with these stamps. Very beautiful cards!😃

  3. Your cards and coloring are always so pretty! The little details are great, like how you added flowers on the little bowl :)

  4. Lovely cards. These are so unique and whimsical. Love that the inspiration was from traveling to Japan. Thank you for sharing.

  5. Wonderful cards Yoonsun!! As usual they are coloured beautifully. I particularly like the watercoloured bamboo in the background of the second card. I have alwàys wondered what the distress markers were like to use. After seeing this post I am tempted to buy a couple to play and see if I’d use them. The wasabi and so matcha stamp sets are just fabulous with such unique images. Love them!! Thañks for the inspiration once again!

  6. I’ve always been drawn to Japanese themes since in high school (many moons ago). I’m so happy to see these. Beautifully colored and designed. Your fan Jan.

  7. Yoonsun, I always love your ability to make such beautiful and unique backgrounds with whatever stamps you use. You have no idea how much you inspire me when I see your work, thank you for that! Your cards are simply beautiful.

  8. Hi Yoonsun, So awesome, love your 2 cards, I love watching watercoloring techniques because I am trying to learn watercoloring. I am a Copics girl and my New Years resoulation was to learn it, so I have been trying but not doing so well. I see you all the time on the Altenew blog and you are so talented, I just adore your cards over there.

  9. Such fun cards! I know nothing about Japan. the food, the language, or things related, so some of this is just over my head. Wish there was a video of the actual coloring process. The bamboo is awesome.

  10. Love the bamboo background. Your multi stamp backgrounds have been inspiring me for quite some time, esp the techniques you use to color them.

  11. What really fun cards! I like how you stand the images all around the panel and gave them a little color. I also like the bamboo forest behind the cute little girl.
