Altenew January 2018 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Altenew January 2018 Release Blog Hop! Here are the new and (of course) fabulous products we have in January!! If you arrived here from Erum Tasneem’s blog you are on the right track!

For my first two cards, I used the Creative Edges: Lace die and the Rose Flurries 3D die set. As soon as I saw the Rose Flurries 3D, I completely fell in love with it! I’m sure you’ll like it, too.
I die cut A2 sized rectangle panel from white card stock, then die cut from the right side of the panel using brand new Creative Edges: Lace die. For the flowers, I die cut them from coloured card stocks using the Rose Flurries 3D die set, then made a bunch of flowers.
For my second card, I used glitter gold flowers on navy card base!! It’s simply beautiful and elegant!

The new sentiment “Thinking of You” die is so gorgeous!! First, I made a floral background using the Flower Arrangement stamp set. Next I die cut the “Thinking of You” from the centre of the stamped panel. I stacked 4 other die cuts under the stamped sentiment cut using fine tip glue pen. After mounting, I lightly coloured the sentiment with Tattered Rose Distress ink and water brush.

  8. When I saw your email in my inbox I knew I had to check out this blog hop. I didn’t realize how many talent people were participating in it. I love the first card because of the colors and the pop off of the lace, very smart to take a picture of the second card with the first card slightly blurred in background. Beautiful cards!
