Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Welcome to the Altenew December Release Blog Hop!! If you arrived here from Altenew Scrapbook blog you are on the right track!
In December, we have 14 brand new stamp sets & matching die sets, 2 stand-alone die sets and..ta-da! new Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine!! Our Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine is the compact and portable must-have tool for your craft room! It is designed to work with Altenew dies (sold separately) and other wafer-thin metal dies. It can be used to quickly and easily die cut a variety of materials, including cardstock and Altenew specialty papers, and will help you add texture and dimension to your projects. The elegant and clean design will look wonderful on your craft desk, secured on its stable base with suction feet.
For my first card, I used the Happy Together stamp set and “Thank you” word die in the Flower Arrangement die set. I started by stamping flowers from the Happy Together set randomly onto watercolour paper panel in pigment black ink, and then watercoloured the panel with several Distress inks.
I die cut “Thank you” sentiment from white card stock using the Flower Arrangement die set. It’s a beautiful and trendy script font!
For my second card, I used the Peony Spray stamp set – I love this set in particular!
Flower card again!! :D For my last card, I used the Flower Arrangement stamp set. I randomly stamped layered flowers & leaves with lots of dye inks:
Red flowers: (light to dark) Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, Ruby Red
Yellow flowers: Mango Smoothie, Honey Drizzle, Orange Cream
Blue flowers: Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Desert Night
Large leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen
Small leaves: Bamboo, Parrot, Olive
and then watercoloured around the stamped images with some Distress inks.

What beautiful cards. Ive been practising my stamped backgrounds and I’m finally getting the hang of it thanks to prove in this blog hop. I’m very pleased you’re in it. Wishing you a merry Christmas xx 😢 xx
Cute cards! The new mini die cutting machine is too cute!
My heart skipped a beat when I saw your first card. I don’t usually “do” pinks, but my breath was taken away. Vellum is always a favorite element of mine, as is jute twine. Your watercoloring with the Distress Inks is amazing. I must get mine out more often. Lovely!!!!
Wonderful projects. Your water coloring is fabulous
Love your bright and cheerful creation Yoonsun!! So so pretty coloring and designs. :-)
