Altenew Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Altenew Markers Release Blog Hop!! We have 2 more awesome alcohol-based marker sets in November! If you arrived here from Kymona Tracey’s blog you are on the right track!

Artist Markers Set B includes:
Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, Midnight Violet
Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee, Paper Bag
Morning Frost, Evening Gray, Moon Rock, Lava Rock

Artist Markers Set C includes:
Blush, Rouge, Crimson, Velvet
Arctic, Caribbean Sky, Persian Blue, Sapphire
Mango Smoothie, Cotton Candy, Peach Perfect, Dark Chocolate

For my first card, I used purple colours in the Artist Markers Set B. I stamped iris from theΒ Enchanted Iris set on white card stock using black dye ink, coloured the stamped images with the Altenew alcohol markers, then die cut them using the matching dies.
Iris: Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, Buttercream, Warm Sunshine
Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades.
I die cut frame from the Spicy Yogurt card stock, and then mounted all elements as shown to the same Spicy Yogurt card base using foam tape.

For my second card, I coloured my own leafy background with the Artist Markers Set C. I randomly stamped leaves from the Adore You set on white paper panel using black dye ink, coloured them with the Artist Markers Set C:
Leaves: (Blue) Arctic, Caribbean Sky / (Green) Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades
Background: Peach Perfect

  1. Stunning cards, love how you have colored the iris. Great new color selections from Altenew, it is easy to see how easily they blend. Looking forward to seeing my name as a winner!

  2. Those Irises are beautiful with the yellow and purple mix. The background frame really lets the flower image pop. The peach background on the second card looks great with the green and blue….Love it!

  3. Very pretty cards. I love the Iris card; the Iris was my mom’s favorite flower, I love purple and I also love that gorgeous frame you put in the background.

  4. Those Iris look so realistic and I love how you’ve layered them above a white frame….so pretty…the second card with just the leaves has such a fabulous colour scheme…love your cards..!!

  5. I’m so happy to see the enchanted iris stamps used – this are currently my favorite stamp and I needed a little inspiration. I also love that you only used leaves on the 2nd card and your use of dies on both cards. These are wonderful – thank you for the inspiration!

  6. So lovely! I love doing floral images over a metal frame die-cut, but never thought about a white one! It’s a beautiful way to add dimension and interest. Thank you.

  7. I love how you used the frame on your first card and the second one is simply breathtaking!
These markers are a game changer and I can’t wait to get them! TFS! 🀞✨🀞✨🀞
