PPP November Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!!
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh November 2017 Product Release Blog Hop! We have 4 brand new stamp sets, 6 new die sets, and (of course) mixed sequins in November! If you arrived here from the Cathy Zielske’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I used brand new Wild RoseWinter Woodland sets along with the Christmas Friends set.
I started by stamping flowers & leaves from the Wild Rose set onto watercolour paper using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I coloured them with traditional Christmas colours of Distress ink: Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Mowed Lawn, and Evergreen Bough. I then die cut them with the Wild Rose matching dies. I stamped & coloured a little girl from the Christmas Friends set with Distress markers. For a pair of birds, I used the Winter Woodland set.
Before mounting all watercoloured die cuts, I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings set on the top right corner of the white paper panel in black pigment ink, added metallic gold washi tape on the bottom of the panel.

For my second card, I used the Joy Shaker and the Festive Holly die sets.
I filled up the Joy Shaker cut with the gold shimmer seed beads. I glued them using Glossy Accents.

  1. I love how you used a craft paper to make your shake her card. The Shaker cards everyone are making are so inspiring. I’m still yet to make me one.

  2. Both of your cards are lovely, Yoonsun, but I think my favorite is the JOY shaker! It is pretty, festive, and a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing both in this celebration of PPP’s new release!

  3. Your two cards are really pretty. Your first card with the red flowers is so pretty and you really are good at coloring. I want those adorable animals when I win. Your card is so cute!
The Joy card is so amazing! I kept looking for the shaker element and couldn’t find it. Then I read that you glued all the beads onto your card. Oh my gosh! How cool is that? I would not have thought of that but then again, I don’t have a die cutter. Even if I did have a die cutter I don’t think I would have thought to do what you did.
You did 2 amazing cards and thank you for showing them to us. Everyone did something different in this blog hop. Thanks also for giving us the chance to win something.

  4. Hi Yoonsun, What absolutely stunning cards! They are so eye-catching and unique! Love all the dimension with the layered flowers and the seed beads. Beautiful job!

  5. I just love how you combined 3 stamp sets on your first card. so super cute. i love how the little girl is peeking out of the flowers. too cute.

    • had to go back and take a second look, cause i loved that card so much and realized you actually used 4 stamp sets. even more impressive. :-) top notch.

  6. Just gorgeous! To combine all the stamp sets to make the beautiful burst of color and design was so very clever! And I just absolutely adore your JOY card and to have glued it all – wow! That’s such a creative way to think outside the shaker card box! Your cards, your attention to detail, and your coloring – all magnificent! TFS ♥

  7. Both of your cards are really pretty…but I especially love the “Peace and Joy” card. I am in awe of it! You should be most proud of it! :) Fun hop and fun new releases….but let’s call this hop “get her in trouble hop” because I want it all. ;)
