PPP November Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!!
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh November 2017 Product Release Blog Hop! We have 4 brand new stamp sets, 6 new die sets, and (of course) mixed sequins in November! If you arrived here from the Cathy Zielske’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I used brand new Wild RoseWinter Woodland sets along with the Christmas Friends set.
I started by stamping flowers & leaves from the Wild Rose set onto watercolour paper using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I coloured them with traditional Christmas colours of Distress ink: Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Mowed Lawn, and Evergreen Bough. I then die cut them with the Wild Rose matching dies. I stamped & coloured a little girl from the Christmas Friends set with Distress markers. For a pair of birds, I used the Winter Woodland set.
Before mounting all watercoloured die cuts, I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings set on the top right corner of the white paper panel in black pigment ink, added metallic gold washi tape on the bottom of the panel.

For my second card, I used the Joy Shaker and the Festive Holly die sets.
I filled up the Joy Shaker cut with the gold shimmer seed beads. I glued them using Glossy Accents.

  1. Very pretty cards. I like how you used the die cuts. The beads are a very interesting texture that must look great in real life. Thanks

  2. Great cards! One thing about the holidays… the opportunity to use lots of sparkles! I love the way the seed beads sparkle on your second card.

  3. I am in trouble! Pretty Pink Posh is a new company for me! I love the dimensions you created with these fresh new products!

  4. WOW! When I first laid eye your JOY card I thought you first adhered the stacked JOY, then inlaid ALL the Gold seed beads by using clear drying glue first, sprinkled Gold seed beads! After reading how you created your JOY card…I was spot on…lol! Great cards! Well done!

P.S. Would make a Great ornament or Memento or Name Tag for one named JOY <3

  5. Oh, Yoonsun, when I saw all those bright red poinsettias on your card, and that sweet little girl and the bird my heart just melted! There is just something so magically cheerful about this card! LOVE IT!
    Take Care!
    Michele

  6. Yoonsun, you’ve done just what I was thinking at first glance of that set… beautiful red Christmas blooms! and nothing makes me happier than kraft cardstock at Christmas – Joy – filled, indeed!
