Happy Thursday crafty friends!
I’m up on the Altenew blog with my Christmas card to share with you using the Build-A-Flower: Poinsettia along with other products. The poinsettia is one of the plants traditionally use as Christmas decoration so it makes me feel excited about Christmas approaching!!
To create this card, I stamped & die cut the layered poinsettia from the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Poinsettia set. I used (from light to dark) Ruby Red, Velvet, Dark Chocolate dye inks for solid images and then Jet Black dye ink for outlined image. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the Altenew Holiday Wishes set on dark brown card stock in white, and then trimmed it down as a small banner.
For the background, I die cut the Striped Leaf Cover from kraft card stock, and then mounted the “Striped Leaf” panel on kraft card base using foam tape. I added white ink splatters here and there. I added Gold Fenstone Decorative, poinsettia die cut, and sentiment banner in order using foam tape as well. To finish it off, I added white dots using Nuvo Simply White Crystal Drops.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
