MFT January Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now!
NewProductLaunchToday I will be sharing with you a couple of simple watercolour cards that I’ve made using the Well-Connected Alphabet stamp set. With this stamp set, we can make any sentiment we want!
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-mpl-a001For my first card, I made the “Praying for you” card. I stamped the sentiment from the Well-Connected Alphabet set on watercolour paper in black pigment ink, and then watercoloured on it with Peerless watercolors – I used Grass Green, Turquoise Blue, and Butterfly Wing Blue. Once the paper was dry, I trimmed it with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I mounted the panel on the Grout Gray card base using foam tape.

yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-mpl-b001For my second card, I made a wedding card! I stamped the “Happily ever after” from the set on watercolour paper in black pigment ink, then painted pink on it – I used Geranium Pink and Arbutus Pink Peerless watercolors.

  1. I like the Well-Connected Alphabet set…it is so versatile. It can go from simple to elegant on any card or scrapbook page.
Your cards are very colorful…love it!

  2. Both of your cards are beautiful, Yoonsun! The peaceful colors you watercolored with the new alphabet on the Praying For You card is so thoughtful. I love the extras you added from Once Upon A Time on your Happily Ever After card. They are both wonderful!! Great job!
