Altenew Stamp Focus: Bold Blossom

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
I’m up on the Altenew blog today with my flower cards using the newly released Bold Blossom stamp set.

yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-a001For my first card, I created a tone-on-tone floral pattern on the SSS Lipstick Red card base in Altenew Ruby Red dye ink. Next I stamped the layered flower and leaves from the Bold Blossom set on white card stock using some Altenew dye inks:
Flower: Frosty Pink (the base layer), Coral Berry, Ruby Red (the darkest parts)
Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen.
And then I fussy cut them out. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Sentiments & Quotes set on black card stock in white, cut the sentiment using scissors. I decorated the bottom of the card with the Altenew Gold Glitter Tape.

yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-b001For my second card, I repeatedly stamped the flowers & leaves on the Altenew Spicy Yogurt card base in blues and greens – I used a MISTI to get exact placement of my stamped layers! I used Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Lagoon dye inks for the green flowers and Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk for the blue flowers. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Floral Sprig set in Jet Black dye ink.

yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-c001For my last card, I heat embossed them on kraft card base in white. And I die cut the word “Thank you” from white card stock using the word dies in the Majestic Bloom die set.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

  1. All three cards are just stunning! The first one would make a lovely Christmas card (different sentiment, of course). Love the softness of the second. Kraft and white is always a great combo.
