Hello crafty friends, welcome to the My Favorite Things August Creative Construction with Blueprints Challenge!
Blueprints feature many innovative designs that make it so easy to add interest to your projects without a lot of unnecessary effort. Frames that feature multiple openings allow you to compartmentalize and feature numerous images and sentiments without the monotony involved in aligning a variety of dies. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Blueprints that include these fantastic elements.
Here is what I came up with:
For my card today, I used tri-window frame in the Blueprints 29 Die-namics as the windows in a cozy brick house. First, I made a brick pattern using the English Brick Wall Stencil. I laid the stencil over the watercolour paper panel, coloured with Vintage Photo Distress ink using mini ink blending tool, and then lightly brushed the bricks with water using paint brush. For the inside the house, I stamped so adorable kitties from the Cool Cat set on a separate watercolour paper in pigment black ink, coloured them with Distress markers. For the light yellow curtains, I die cut them from the Lemon Chiffon card stock using the Classic Window Die-namics.
Make sure to head over to the MFT blog today for more great projects from the design team for this months challenge.
