Poppystamps & Birch Press Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Poppystamps & Birch Press Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Sue McRae!
PoppyBirchPressBlogHop-BannerBirch Press Design has released so awesome A2 sized stackable cover plate dies and my card today features the Circa Layer die set!
YoonsunHur-20160823-Poppystamps001With the Circa Layer die set, I made a fun and playful animals card. First, I die cut all three circle cover plate from shades of blue card stock using the Circa Layer dies. I then cut kitties, squirrels, and tiny butterflies out of white card stock, and then die cut stitched leaves from green card stock using the Fall Leaf Collage die. I adhered all elements as shown to the picture on the light blue cover plate panel using double-sided tape, and then mounted them on an A2 top folded navy blue card base using foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few clear sequins.
YoonsunHur-20160823-Poppystamps002For the sentiment, I used the Poppystamps Wintertime Bears stamp set.

  3. My mouth drops open with each blog I open on this hop. This card made it happen again! This is so adorable with the kitties popping out playing with the string. I love the blue colors too.

  4. This is so stinking cute, love all the little animals playing in the holes ( like holes in cheese), you did an awesome job! Thanks for sharing!

  5. Oh Yoonsun this is fabulous – love the dimension you achieved with those die plates, and the sweet wee animals playing make such a wonderful card. I am swooning

  6. I think this Circa set has become my favorite! Awesome card with pretty layers and colors! Love the sweet kitties and squirrels playing throughout the cutouts! Very fun idea !

  7. OMG, I love this card, it’s brilliant! Those cats poking out of the holes… to die for. I have a cat condo and this reminds me of when my cats hide in it trying to grab onto their toys as well as each other while playing in it. Perfect job!
