Hello crafty friends, welcome to the My Favorite Things July Release Replay Challenge!
Today our team is taking a fresh look at our most recent release with inspiring ideas and innovative takes on the complete collection. We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present. We can’t wait to share our ideas with you!
For my first card, I used the Big Birthday Balloons Die-namics as my main supply. First, I die cut the balloons from watercolour paper, then lightly coloured them with Distress inks using a wet paint brush: (from the top left corner) Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade, Tea Dye, Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass, and Victorian Velvet. Once the balloon die cuts were dry, I adhered them as shown to an A2 sized white paper panel using double-sided tape. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Big Birthday Sentiments set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then cut out a banner using the Blueprints 27 Die-namics.
Here is another card with a birthday balloon! I tried to make a clean and simple layered card. I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, positioned the Big Balloons Stencil on the top right corner of it, traced the balloon very lightly with a pencil, then coloured the balloon with Festive Berries and Fired Brick Distress inks using a paint brush. Next, I die cut another rectangle panel, the same size of the watercoloured balloon panel, from the Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack using the same Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I then stamped the Transparent Triangles Background on the Kraft card base using Latte hybrid ink. I mounted all elements as shown to the Kraft card base using dimensional foam tape. For the sentiment, I stamped “Make A Wish” from the Celebrate with Cake set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then cut out a small banner using the Blueprints 30 Die-namics.
“MAY ALL OF YOUR WISHES COME TURE!” – I really love this sentiment!!
