My cards today I used the Make Yourself at Home stamp set and Modern Mosaic Background stamp.
YoonsunHur-20160510-MFTRR-A001With the Make Yourself at Home stamp set, every background stamp could be a gorgeous wallpaper! And today, the newly released Modern Mosaic Background stamp was used as a stylish modern wallpaper in my card.

To create this card, I stamped the Modern Mosaic Background on white card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, then trimmed it with Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I then added some shading with a Copic marker C1, then coloured some rectangles with Copic markers as well:
Red: (from lighter to darker) R24, R29, R39  /  Blue: BG11, BG13, B95
Yellow: Y02, Y15, YR14  /  Green: BG11, YG06, B95
Brown: E53, E25, E49  /  Purple: V12, R85, V15
Next, I stamped the sofas, lamp stand, and frames from Make Yourself at Home set on a separate white card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, die cut them with Make Yourself at Home Die-namics. I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-20160510-MFTRR-B001For my second card, I was inspired by my talented teammate Kimberly Crawford (click HERE to see her gorgeous card). I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp the sofas on watercolour panel, stamped them in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then watercoloured them with Peerless watercolors. I coloured the rest area with Tattered Rose Distress ink using a paint brush. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed it on the Milk Chocolate card stock, then trimmed it with the fishtail banner die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. Lastly I mounted the panels on A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape.

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog today for more great projects from the design team for this months challenge.
