Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my watercolour flower card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 275.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160406-MFTWSC275-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the poppies and leaves from Delicate Pretty Poppies set onto watercolour paper panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 2) Coloured them with Peerless watercolors using waterbrush. 3) Coloured the background with Antique Linen Distress ink using a wet paint brush. 4) Added some black ink splatters. 5) Die cut a separate piece of white card stock using the stitched rectangle die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics, added stitching to the panel using Stitched Strip Die-namics, then die cut the circle at the bottom right hand corner of the stitched panel using Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. 6) Stamped the sentiment from Delicate Pretty Poppies set on black card stock using VersaMark Embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder. 7) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 8) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT April Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! It’s Time!! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now! I can’t wait to see what you guys create with them :D

YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-NPLBuild-able Bouquet set is so versatile. We can create a number of different styles of flower bouquets with the long-stemmed flowers or simply one layer flower card.

To create this card, I 1) Stamped the flowers and leaves from Build-able Bouquet set randomly onto watercolour paper panel using VersaMark Embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder. 2) Watercoloured the stamped panel with several colours of Distress ink in rainbow order – I used Festive BerriesWild HoneyMowed LawnEvergreen BoughPeacock FeathersStormy Sky, and Seedless Preserves Distress inks. 3) Added some opaque white ink splatters. 4) Die cut the word “Hi” from white card stock using Happy Hellos Die-namics three times, then glued them together using a fine tip glue pen. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using double-sided tape.

MFT April Release Countdown – Day 1

Welcome to the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown!!
NewReleaseCountdown_Day1Today I am featuring the Build-able Bouquet stampDie-namics.
YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY1-A001First off I stamped the Lined Chevron Background onto watercolour paper panel using VersaMark Embossing ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then inked the centre of the stamped panel with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink using mini blending tool, added a bit of water. I stamped the flowers and leaves from Build-able Bouquet set on a separate watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, watercoloured them with Peerless watercolors, then die cut them with Build-able Bouquet Die-namics. For the lemon yellow frame, I die cut rounded rectangles from the Lemon Chiffon card stock using Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card stock using dimensional foam tape and then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT April Release Countdown – Day 2

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown Day 2.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day2Today I am sharing my nature themed cards with the new Forest Friends stamp & Die-namicsFriends Die-namics, Tree-mendous Die-namics, and Bold Greenery Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY2-A001For my first card, I stamped the trees from Forest Friends set onto watercolour paper panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink, then watercoloured it with Peerless watercolors. I then stamped the fox and owl on a separate watercolour paper with Black Licorice hybrid ink, watercoloured them with Peerless watercolours as well, then die cut them with Forest Friends Die-namics. 3) Die cut the word “friends” from white card stock using Friends Die-namics five times, then glued them together using a fine tip glue pen. 4) Mounted all elements as shown to white card base using dimensional foam tape. 5) Embellished with a few PPP Share Kindness Sequins.

YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY2-B001For my second card, I stamped the critters from Forest Friends set on watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, watercoloured them with Distress markers, then die cut them with Forest Friends Die-namics. I die cut stitched trees from coloured card stocks using Tree-mendous Die-namics – I used Limelight, Green Room, Field Day card stocks for treetops and Milk Chocolate for trunks. Before mounting all elements, I added stitching to white card base with Stitched Strip Die-namics.

YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY2-C001For my last card today, I used Bold Greenery Die-namics as my main supply. First off I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I then made my own watercoloured background with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I die cut leaves from white card stock using Bold Greenery Die-namics. For the sentiment, I stamped it from Forest Friends set on black card stock using VersaMark Embossing ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I mounted all elements as shown to Kraft card base using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP 4mm clear droplets.

MFT April Release Countdown – Day 3

Welcome to the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown Day 3.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day3Today I am featuring the Loads of Thanks and I’m Tweet on You stamp sets.
YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY3-A001MFT-CloudFor the cloud background, I die cut Stitched Cloud Edges from white card stock and used it as a stencil. I inked it up with Summer Splash hybrid ink using sponge daubers. Next, I stamped the flowers from Fly-By Friends set onto this inked panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolors. I then stamped others, girl from Loads of Thanks set and butterflies from Fly-By Friends set, on a separate watercolour paper with Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolors, then die cut them with matching dies. Finally I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape.

YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY3-B001For my second card, I used I’m Tweet on You stamp set, Hello There Die-namics, and Cascading Scallop stencil. First off I blended the watercolour paper panel with several colours of Distress ink in rainbow order, placed Cascading Scallop stencil over the inked panel, dabbed away to remove colours using wet tissues, then added some white ink splatters. I stamped the birds, flowers, and bird house from I’m Tweet on You set on white card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, then die cut them with I’m Tweet on You Die-namics. I die cut the word “hello” from white card stock using Hello There Die-namics. Finally I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape.   YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY3-B002
