MFT Color Challenge 38

Hello crafty friends, welcome to My Favorite Things Color Challenge.
Print Sometimes it can be hard to know where to start when choosing a colour palette for our handmade project – so if you’re in trouble with the colours, MFT Color Challenge is really helpful for you! The colours for Color Challenge 38 are Lemon Chiffon, Peach Bellini, Coral Crush, and Pure Plum. Oh, I love these warm colours, it’s a beautiful colour combo!!

Here is what I came up with:

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160127-MFTWSC265-001To create the card, I 1) Stamped chemical elements from Undeniable Chemistry set on Kraft card base using white chalk ink. 2) Stamped the Roses All Over Background on a white Wonky Stitched Rectangle using embossing ink, white heat embossed, then blended on it with Red Hot, Bubblegum, and Lemon Drop dye inks using mini blending tool. 3) Die cut the word “amazing” from white card stock five times, glued them together using fine tip glue pen, then overlaid it with gold heat embossing. 4) Die cut beakers from white card stock using Chemistry Set Die-namics, inked each of them with Red Hot and Lemon Drop dye inks. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to the stamped Kraft card base using double-sided tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

SSS Flowers On My Mind

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
Today I want to share with you my watercolour flower card with SSS Flowers On My Mind stamp set.
SSS-StampThese flowers are so artistic and bold so I think they are perfect for watercolour cards.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160127-SSS001For my own watercolor floral background, I 1) Inked the flowers and leaves from Flowers On My Mind set using Distress inks: Festive BerriesWild HoneyMowed LawnPeacock Feathers, Rusty Hinge, and Seedless Preserves. 2) Spritzed the inked stamps with water using a Mini Mister. 3) Stamped them onto watercolour paper panel, added opaque white ink splatters. I then made square window at the centre of the watercoloured panel using Stitches Squares die. For the sentiment, I stamped it from Hand Lettered Encouragement set on A2 size white card base in black. I mounted the watercoloured panel over the stamped base using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

SSS Prayers + Lasting Hearts Card Drive

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a fabulous weekend!
Today I want to share with you my simple floral cards with several SSS floral stamp sets and Prayers die.

YoonsunHur-20160125-SSS001For my first card, I 1) Stamped the layered flowers and leaves from SSS + Altenew Layered Flowers set on the white Stitches Square panel using Altenew dye inks. 2) Stamped the hearts from SSS + Hero Arts Prayers set on the stamped panel using Hero Arts Neon red dye ink. 3) Die cut the word “Prayers” from gold foil paper. 4) Mounted all elements as shown to white square card base. 5) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.YoonsunHur-20160125-SSS002For my second card, I made my own floral background with Flowers On My Mind stamp set. I randomly stamped the flowers and leaves on the white Stitches Square panel using Altenew dye inks and then mounted the “Prayers” die cut on the stamped panel same as my first card.
YoonsunHur-20160125-SSS003For the roses background, I used Best Mom Ever and Lovely Spring stamp sets.
