Hello crafty friends!
We are still making Christmas cards, right?! So I’m sharing with you my Christmas card using SSS Jingle Snowflakes Die.
I believe watercolour background in blue makes white die cuts stand out, especially in winter time :D
First I 1) Coloured on A2 size watercolour paper panel with blue colours using a wet paintbrush. 2) Spritzed Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist all over the watercoloured background, added Studio Calico Opaque White ink splatters. 3) Die cut Jingle Snowflakes four times from white card stock and glued them together. 4) Die cut small snowflakes from white card stock using Stitched Flakes Die. 5) Stamped the sentiment from Simon And Dexter set on watercoloured panel using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 6) Mounted the watercolour background on white card base using double-sided tape at first, then affixed all die cuts as shown to the watercolour card using fine tip glue pen.
Thank you so much for stopping by and happy holiday crafting!!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Oh Yoonsun what a beautiful card – love the intense blues you have used, and yes, the white looks so stunning over it.
Blessings

Oh thank you so much as always, Maxine!!!! xoxo
I am a huge fan of your beautiful cards! I would love to know how you get such depth and texture in your watercolour layers. Do you allow your layers to dry in between applying colour? I have tried different methods but I always end up with a wash of just one tone/shade… Please help!
Thank you so much, Kate!! I usually use 2-3 different shades of one colour and do not use heat tool while I colour on watercolour paper with them. I would probably make card videos on next year and I hope it would help you!! xoxo
Thank you, would love to see a video! Xx
Gorgeous card Yoonsun :)
