Clearly Besotted November Release Teaser Time Day 2

Hello crafty friends!
Wow!! I am so happy (and super honoured) because I am guest designing with Clearly Besotted again!! As I mentioned before, I LOVE Stephanie’s beautiful flower drawings and there is SO beautiful outlined flower stamp set in November! Hooray!!

Here is what I came up with today:
YoonsunHur-20151102-CB-01-600pxAren’t these flowers so beautiful? I used a new Merci Beaucoup stamp set. First I 1) Stamped the flowers onto watercolour paper panel using embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder. 2) Coloured them with Distress markers using waterbrush. 3) Added some ink splatters. 4) Stamped the sentiment on watercolour floral panel with black pigment ink. 5) Mounted the watercoloured panel on white card base using double-sided tape. 6) Tied the bottom part of the card with a natural twine for finishing touches.

  1. WOW, what a wonderful card! Your coloring is amazing and the white embossed flowers look just great in these colors. I very much like that your images go into the stitched border, I think that looks very good. And the embellishments look like real water drops, I love that effect.

Did you for your coloring use the smooth or the textured side of the watercolor paper? I guess it’s the smooth one, is that right?

    Kind regards from Switzerland

  2. Oh what a beautiful stamp, and you have really made it look even more special the way you have used it Yoonsun. A beautifuk card, and I do love the ‘raindrops’ you have used, they are the perfect accent.
    Blessings
