MFT July Release Countdown – Day 5

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things July Release Countdown Day 5. We will show lots of awesome goodies to celebrate a terrific birthday party!
YoonsunHur-MFT-20150703-Day5-01For my first card, I used Split Diagonal Background Stamp in a creative way. 1)First of all, I stamped it onto the white card stock with embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I inked diagonal stripes with MFT dye inks Red Hot, Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Lush Lagoon, and Pure Plum in rainbow order. I then cut each stripe. 3)I made fringe at the bottom of each stripe and then adhered them to the Grout Gray card stock. For the sentiment, I used it from Blueprints 26 Die-namics.

YoonsunHur-MFT-20150703-Day5-03Blueprints 26 Die-namics is super awesome. There are large frame, mini clip, balloons, string, and even word dies in one set! Amazing!!

For the big blue balloon, 1)I stamped Star Celebration Background Stamp onto the white card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I blended on the stamped panel with Summer Splash, Lush Lagoon, After Midnight dye ink using mini blending tool (from the centre of the panel). 3)I die cut it using Blueprints 26 Die-namics. 4)For the yellow ribbon, I used Creative Clips Die-namics.

  1. Wonderful cards Yoonsun – love the white diecut sentiments – they look so classy. I love how you have ued the emboss resist technique on the top card.

  2. Love your second card, so awesome. The stars on the balloon and all the other details are great. Can not wait to see tomorrows hop.

  3. Two very creative and inspiring cards. Liked your use of the split diagonal stencil and the shaded balloon woth matching striped twine!

  4. Yoonsun, your cards are both charming! I love how bright and colorful they are and I really like your use of the stars on your 2nd card!

  5. Two Darling cards! The first one looks like a little ruffled dress, and your ‘giant’ balloon with stars is so striking!

  6. What an impact you’ve made with these 2 cards!! I can see that a lot of love went into both of them. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us.
