Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things July Release Countdown Day 5. We will show lots of awesome goodies to celebrate a terrific birthday party!
For my first card, I used Split Diagonal Background Stamp in a creative way. 1)First of all, I stamped it onto the white card stock with embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I inked diagonal stripes with MFT dye inks Red Hot, Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Lush Lagoon, and Pure Plum in rainbow order. I then cut each stripe. 3)I made fringe at the bottom of each stripe and then adhered them to the Grout Gray card stock. For the sentiment, I used it from Blueprints 26 Die-namics.
Blueprints 26 Die-namics is super awesome. There are large frame, mini clip, balloons, string, and even word dies in one set! Amazing!!
For the big blue balloon, 1)I stamped Star Celebration Background Stamp onto the white card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I blended on the stamped panel with Summer Splash, Lush Lagoon, After Midnight dye ink using mini blending tool (from the centre of the panel). 3)I die cut it using Blueprints 26 Die-namics. 4)For the yellow ribbon, I used Creative Clips Die-namics.
