Hello crafty friends! Today I made no-line watercolour card -recently my most favourite technique- with Simon Says Stamps Hop To It Slumber Party Stamp Set.
Here is what I came up with:
Isn’t this girl so adorable? This cute girl alone is worth adding to my stamp collection :D
To create the card:
1)I die cut stitched rectangle panel from white cardstock using SSS Stitches Rectangles Die. 2)I die cut several elements -moon, stars, popcorn bowl, slipper, etc- from stamping mask paper using the dies that coordinate with a Slumber Party stamp set. I positioned the mask die cuts on the panel, adhered them in place. I then blended on the panel with distress inks –Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar– using blending tool, spritzed using Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz Sparkle. 3)I stamped the girl on the watercolour paper using Distress ink Antique Linen -Gearing up for no-line watercolouring!! 4)I coloured the girl with Distress markers –hair: Gathered Twigs, Vintage Photo / face: Tattered Rose / pajama: Barn Door, Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed, Aged Mahogany / bear: Brushed Corduroy / slipper: Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire. 5)Inked panel have dried up, I removed the masks and stamped coordinating images in Vintage Sepia pigment ink in each space on the panel. 6)For the sentiment: I stamped it on the black cardstock using VersaMark Embossing ink and white heat embossed, fussy cute it. 7)Mixed clear sequins were the finishing touches.
For the background, I was inspired by Dawn of WPlus9 at Online Card Class Stretch Your Dies. (If you want to see my another cards with this technique click HERE!)
My teenage niece love this card SO much and she asked me to make 7 cards -exactly same design- for her sleepover birthday party in April lol! ;)
That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
