SSS Happiness is contagious

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
Are you having a wonderful sunny summer holiday? It’s cold out here in Sydney but I’m really enjoying my day with my friends from my hometown, South Korea!! They LOVE to see my cards and even wanna have :D

YoonsunHur-20160811-SSS-001 My card today, I used the SSS Tropical Leaves, Summertime Animals, and Uplifting Thoughts stamp sets. I 1) Die cut a piece of cold press watercolour paper using the Stitches Rectangles die. 2) Stamped the flamingo, pineapple, sun, popsicle from the Summertime Animals set randomly onto watercolour paper panel in Antique Linen Distress ink, and then coloured them with Distress markers and waterbrush. 3) Stamped the Tropical Leaves on the panel with Mowed Lawn Distress ink – I used the second generation stamping technique and then brushed them with a bit of water using waterbrush. 4) Added green ink splatters around the panel. 5) Stamped the sentiment from the Uplifting Thoughts set on the bottom of the panel in VersaFine Onyx Black. 6) Mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using foam tape. 7) Placed the PPP 3mm clear sequins on the tropical leaves using Glossy Accents. SSS Sending warm hugs

Hello crafty friends, happy Saturday!
Today I want to share with you a card that I’ve made using the Oh Happy Day stamp set in the SSS Masterpiece Box along with other SSS exclusive products.
YoonsunHur-20160723-SSS-001 My card today, I was totally inspired by my super talented friend Yana! I am so in love with her clustered flowers on her own beautiful background!! To start, I heat embossed the Flamingos Background on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in white, and then ink blended on the bottom right corner of the stamped panel with Distress inks using mini ink blending tool: Festive Berries, Wild Honey, and Worn Lipstick. I added water droplets. Next, I stamped & coloured the flowers from the Oh Happy Day set using Apricot hybrid ink (for solid flower) and Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber Distress markers (for outlined flowers). And I made the flamingo with the Summertime Animals stamp set, leaf die cuts with the Single Roses dies. I mounted the ink blended panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown to the card front using dimensional foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets for finishing touches.

SSS Summer fun in the sun

Hello crafty friends, I hope you are having a great weekend!
Today I’m just popping in to share my fun watercolour card with the Simon Says Stamp summer themed stamp sets.
YoonsunHur-20160710-SSS-001 For today’s card, I used the Summertime Animals & Warm Christmas Wishes stamp sets together. First, I stamped the palm trees from the Warm Christmas Wishes set, pineapples from the Summertime Animals set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black using the Mini MISTI stamping tool. I then stamped the sentiments & tiny images from the Uplifting Thoughts set on the centre of the panel in VersaFine Onyx Black as well. Next, I coloured the images with Derwent inktense colored pencils – I coloured with the pencils first, and then dabbed them with the waterbrush. For the background, I coloured around the sentiment areas with Distress inks using a wet paint brush: Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, and Peacock Feathers. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the stamped sun images using dimensional foam tape.

SSS Fun tropical pineapple

Hello crafty friends!
Today I am sharing with you my fun tropical pineapple card with the new SSS Summertime Animals stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160630-SSS-001 Have you ever seen any pink or blue pineapple in real life? Hmm, I haven’t seen but it’s possible to make in our creative imagination, don’t you think? :D
For my card today, I used only the pineapple image in the Summertime Animals stamp set. First, I stamped the pineapples on watercolour paper using VersaFine Smokey Grey, watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor, and then die cut them with the matching die. Next, I die cut a separate watercolour paper using the A2 sized rectangle die in the SSS Basic Rectangle die set. And then roughly watercoloured the background with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor using a wet flat brush. Once the panel was dry, I mounted the watercoloured panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the pineapple die cuts on it using dimensional foam tape. Finally I mounted the sentiment banner on top of the card using foam tape, then added some Glossy Accents water droplets.

SSS Suzy’s Water Color Prints

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you a fun card with the new SSS Suzy’s Sizzling Series Water Color Paintable Prints.
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160628-SSS-001 I simply watercoloured a beach umbrella panel with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor, and then fussy cut it. I watercoloured another fun sketches with the same watercolour medium using a waterbrush, then fussy cut them as well. Next, I ink blended on the top part of an A2 sized white card base with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink using mini ink blending tool. I mounted all elements as shown to the card using dimensional foam tape. For the sentiments, I used the Summertime Animals stamp set – It was so FUN to make!!
