Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I am just popping in to show you my simple Valentine’s Day cards with beautiful SSS Heart Breeze and Heart Banner dies.
Valentine’s Day is known all over the world as an opportunity to celebrate love. Hearts on pink, it’s kind of old-fashioned, but there’s nothing better for the Valentine’s Day cards :D
To create the card, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using Stitches Squares die, blended on it with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress inks using mini blending tool and then brushed it with a bit of water using a paint brush. I die cut Heart Breeze at the bottom of the inked panel – I really like Heart Breeze die, it’s so pretty!! – and then spritzed on it with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist. For the sentiment, I stamped the word “LOVE” from Big U Words set on the Lipstick Red card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. Finally, I mounted all elements as shown to white square card base using a dimensional foam tape.
For my second card, I used inlaid die cut technique with Heart Banner die. I die cut heart banners at the bottom half of the watercoloured paper panel – I took out the coloured heart shape outlines and replaced white outlined banners. For the sentiment, I stamped “TO YOU” from Big Add Ons set in VersaFine Onyx Black. It’s so easy to make!!
That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
