SSS Today is a good day to smile

Hello crafty friends! I hope you are having a happy weekend or summer holiday!!
I want to share my fun and cheerful card with the Mama Elephant Tiny Ninjas stamp set in the SSS Masterpiece Box.
YoonsunHur-20160731-SSS-001Mama Elephant Tiny Ninjas are so CUTE! These adorable ninjas make me giggle!!

To start, I stamped the sentiment from the Uplifting Thoughts set on an A2 sized white paper panel in VersaFine Onyx Black. I then cut the sentiment part out of the panel using the Stitches Rectangles die. Next, I randomly stamped the ninjas & accessories from the Tiny Ninjas set in the SSS Masterpiece Box using SSS hybrid inks (All supplies are linked at the end of this post). I mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment panel using foam tape.

SSS Watercolour stripes

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!!
I am just popping in to share my simple watercolour cards with some SSS exclusive products.

Watercolour stripes seem to be one of pattern trends that never goes away. I love to make my own watercolour stripes behind the large sized script sentiment! I think watercolour stripes make the focal point shine, always!!
YoonsunHur-20160730-SSS-A001For the yellow watercolour stripes, I used the No. 43 Mid Yellow of Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. Once the panel was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Oh Happy Day set in the SSS Masterpiece Box on the centre of the panel in pigment black, then added flowers around the sentiment areas.
YoonsunHur-20160730-SSS-B001Here is another card that I made the same way! I painted the stripes on watercolour paper panel using No. 34 Dark Pink of Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Look For The Miracles set on it in black pigment ink. Then I added stamped flowers using double-sided tape.

SSS Sending warm hugs

Hello crafty friends, happy Saturday!
Today I want to share with you a card that I’ve made using the Oh Happy Day stamp set in the SSS Masterpiece Box along with other SSS exclusive products.
YoonsunHur-20160723-SSS-001My card today, I was totally inspired by my super talented friend Yana! I am so in love with her clustered flowers on her own beautiful background!! To start, I heat embossed the Flamingos Background on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in white, and then ink blended on the bottom right corner of the stamped panel with Distress inks using mini ink blending tool: Festive Berries, Wild Honey, and Worn Lipstick. I added water droplets. Next, I stamped & coloured the flowers from the Oh Happy Day set using Apricot hybrid ink (for solid flower) and Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber Distress markers (for outlined flowers). And I made the flamingo with the Summertime Animals stamp set, leaf die cuts with the Single Roses dies. I mounted the ink blended panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown to the card front using dimensional foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets for finishing touches.

SSS Masterpiece Box – Jump For Joy

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Today I want to share with you a card that I’ve made using so delightful Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy stamp set in the SSS Masterpiece Box.LawnFawn-JumpForJoy
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160722-SSS-001To start, I stamped the scene, as you can see in the picture, on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black – I used post-it notes to mask stamped leaves. I then watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor using a waterbrush. I stamped the owl from the set on a separate watercolour paper in black, coloured it with the same Gansai Tambi Watercolor, die cut it with the matching die. I mounted the watercoloured panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the white heat embossed sentiment banner and owl die cut on the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives 3L Black 3D Foam Squares.
YoonsunHur-20160722-SSS-002I hope someone or something makes you want to jump for joy today!!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

YoonsunHur-20160716-SSS-BlogHop-A001For my first card, I used the “Oh Happy Day” stamp set I designed. To start, I stamped the sentiment on the centre of an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black. I then stamped the flowers and leaves on it using SSS inks. (All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.) I coloured the outlined flowers with Distress markers. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape, then added clear droplets using Ranger Glossy Accents.
YoonsunHur-20160716-SSS-BlogHop-A002I stamped this yellow flower using the NEW SSS Lemon Zing dye ink – This yellow is truly beautiful!!
YoonsunHur-20160716-SSS-BlogHop-A003
YoonsunHur-20160716-SSS-BlogHop-B001For my second card, I made a fun card with the Mama Elephant Tiny Ninjas stamp set – they are super cute!!! To start, I made “A city in the dark” scene with Distress ink blending. I heat embossed the city building from the Mama Elephant Central Park set on watercolour paper in white, ink blended it with Faded JeansSeedless Preserves, and Black Soot Distress inks using mini ink blending tool, then added water droplets and pearl white ink splatters. Next, I stamped the ninjas on white card stock in VersaFine Onyx Black, then fussy cut them. Once the inked panel was dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added a stitched rectangle window panel and adorable ninjas using dimensional foam tape.
