SSS Peace on Earth

Hello crafty friends, happy Tuesday!
Today I have ink-blended-snowflakes-patterned Christmas cards with Simon Says Stamp Outline Snowflakes background stamp.

For my first card, I ink blended the background panel using Broken China & Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks. I heat embossed the Outline Snowflakes Background onto watercolour paper panel using white embossing powder first, and then ink blended on the stamped panel with Distress Oxide inks. For blending, I used medium sized blender brush in the Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brush setthis set is super FANTASTIC!!
Next, I added Perfect Pearl to the snowflakes, opaque white ink splatters all over the panel.
For the sentiment, I used the Tiny Words Christmas stamp set.

For my second card, I ink blended the panel with some Distress inks: Seedless Preserves, Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon and a bit of Fossilized Amber.
I also heat embossed the Outline Snowflakes Background on watercolour paper panel with white embossing powder, blended on the stamped panel with Distress inks, added Perfect Pearls & white ink splatters.
I embellished with a few PPP 3mm sparkling clear sequins.

SSS Modern Christmas Cards

Happy Monday, crafty friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
I have modern Christmas cards today with the Mod Trees Background Stamp along with other SSS products.
My cards were inspired by these pretty Christmas wrapping papers & decorations (on Pinterest).

Here is what I came up with:

For my first card, I stamped the Mod Trees Background on white card stock using VersaFine Onyx Black first, and then trimmed it using the Wonky Rectangle die.
I stamped poinsettia & leaves on white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, and then coloured them with Altenew Artist Markers. I die cut them with the matching dies as well. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Merry” from white card stock.
I wrapped the stamped panel with natural twine, mounted the panel on Fog Gray card base using tape runner, and then added all other elements on the card front using foam tape. I embellished with some PPP clear snowflakes, droplets.

For my second card, I used the Mod Trees Background Stamp as my patterned panel, and then used the Happy Christmas dies as my sentiment.

For my third card, I also made a Mod Trees Background, and then added “Happy Christmas” sentiment & Lined Trees.

Simon Says Stamp Mod Trees Background Stamp is a very charming, right?!!

SSS Christmas Card 6

Hello again, crafty friends!
I have another Christmas card today with several SSS snowflakes dies – I LOVE using various snowflake dies into my winter holiday projects!!

At first, I die cut Wonky Rectangle panel from watercolour paper. I die cut different shaped snowflakes from a separate watercolour paper using some SSS snowflake dies: Alicia, Rina, Eliza, Kate, and Stitched Flakes. I then randomly adhered snowflake die cuts onto the watercoloured panel using fine tip glue pen.
Let’s start ink blending – it’s one of my favourite techniques!! I blended on the snowflakes panel with Festive Berries, Pumice Stone, Crushed Olive Distress ink, and then freely brushed all over the panel using a wet paint brush. I also spritzed silver pearl spray & opaque white ink spray.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Happy Christmas” from kraft card stock, shadow from white card stock, and then glued them together using glue pen. Once the snowflake die cut patterned panel was completely dry, I mounted it on kraft card base using Glue Dots Permanent Tape Runner, and then added the sentiment, tiny snowflakes, clear jewels!
I’d love to see these shiny snowflakes, aren’t they beautiful?!! :D

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous day!

SSS Christmas Card 5

Hello crafty friends!
Today I have a watercoloured Christmas ornaments card with the SSS CZ Design Ornamental Stamp & Die Set.

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping Christmas ornaments on watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black. I then freely watercoloured the stamped ornaments using Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel. I also added lots of ink splatters all over the panel. Once the panel was dry, I tore left side of the panel.
I stamped the “Holidays” sentiment from the Ornamental set on a separate watercolour paper using Vintage Photo & Walnut Stain Distress inks – I wanted to make ombre effect sentiment. I then die cut it with the matching die. I also die cut several tiny snowflakes from white card stock using the Stitched Flakes die.
Red & white twine and jingle bells are things that cannot be missed in Christmas cards! :D

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous day!
