Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things September Release Countdown Day 5.

Today I am sharing with you my floral themed cards.
For my first card, I 1) Blended onto the watercolour paper with Sour Apple, Summer Splash, and Lush Lagoon dye inks using mini blending tool, trimmed it with Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 2) Spritzed some white ink splatters on the inked background. 3) Stamped the poppies on the watercolour paper using black pigment ink, coloured them with Red Hot, Wild Cherry, Paver Red dye inks using waterbrush. 4) Coloured the leaves with Sour Apple, Field Day dye inks as well. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to the inked panel, stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Pretty Poppies Stamp Set in Black Licorice hybrid ink.
For my second card, I made watercolour flower pattern. These days I am obsessed with making my own pattern papers. I don’t know why I like it, but it is so much fun and looks so pretty :D
First, I 1) Stamped randomly the poppies and leaves onto the watercolour panel using black pigment ink, coloured them with MFT dye inks -Red Hot, Wild Cherry, Paver Red, Sour Apple, Field Day, and Grout Gray. 2) Stamped the sentiment from the Thanks so Very Much Stamp Set on the white card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, trimmed it with Zig Zag Stitched Square STAX Die-namics and then gold heat embossed the edges. 3) Mounted the watercolour panel on the white card base and then adhered the sentiment panel on top of the card. 4) Embellished with 4mm PPP clear sequins for finishing touches.

For my last card, I used so beautiful Etched Flower Background Stamp. Honestly it was love at first sight when I saw this background stamp!
To create this card, I 1) Stamped Etched Flower Background onto the watercolour panel using embossing ink, heat embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. 2) Coloured it (partially) with Coral Crush, Tickled Pink dye inks using waterbrush. 3) Die cut a circle window at the bottom right corner of the stamped panel because I want to stamp the sentiment on the inside. 4) Stamped the sentiment from the Thanks so Very Much Stamp Set on the white card base using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 5) Mounted the flower background panel as shown to the card base. 6) Embellished with a few clear sequins.
Wow! It is a beautiful start, isn’t it?! Make sure to check out MFT Blog for all the info for today along with links to all the other DT member’s blog posts.
