MFT August Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things August Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4Today I want to share with you my fun birthday card with the Monster Love Stamp & Die-namics, and Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows Die-namics. The Monster Love set is perfect for boy card!!
YoonsunHur-August-MFTRC-Day4-001To create the card, I 1) die cut Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows from white paper panel. 2) Stamped the monsters from the Monster Love set randomly onto the die cut panel in Grout Gray and Gravel Gray (darker gray) hybrid inks. 3) Stamped the monsters on a separate white card stock using several colours of hybrid ink: (Red) Red Hot & Paver Red / (Blue) Blu Raspberry & Lush Lagoon / (Brown) Latte & Chocolate Brown. 4) Die cut the stamped images with the Monster Love Die-namics. 5) Die cut the balloons from another white card stock using the Birthday Balloons Die-namics, then coloured them with Copic markers. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to white card base using dimensional foam tape. 7) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

Altenew July Release Blog Hop

Today I want to share a couple of watercolour cards that I’ve made using the Celebrations stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160729-Altenew-A01For my first card, I used the masking stamping technique to make stacks of rainbow macaroons!! I stamped the macaroons from the Celebrations set on watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, and then watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner on the card front using dimensional foam tape.

YoonsunHur-20160729-Altenew-B01For my second card, I used the rose image from the Celebrations stamp set. I simply stamped the rose along with the sentiment on watercolour paper panel in black pigment ink, then coloured the roses with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I added black ink splatters. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on kraft card base using dimensional foam tape.

MFT August Release Countdown – Day 5

Welcome to the My Favorite Things August Release Countdown Day 5.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day5My card features the Essential Sentiments stamp set. It literally has lots and lots of essential sentiments for all occasions in one set – I LOVE IT!!
YoonsunHur-August-MFTRC-Day5-001To start, I made my own floral background with the Flashy Florals stamp set. I die cut the stitched rectangle panel from white card stock using the Blueprints 25 Die-namics first, then randomly stamped the flowers and leaves from the Flashy Florals set on it using Grout Gray & Gravel Gray hybrid inks, splotches from the Distressed Patterns set with VersaFine Smokey Grey. Next, I heat embossed the sentiments from the Essential Sentiments set on coloured card stocks in white: Cherry Crisp, Coral Crush, Pineapple, Limelight, Summer Splash, and Wild Wisteria in rainbow order. I mounted the flower patterned panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banners on the card front using dimensional foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

MFT July Release – New Product Launch

Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! Yay, it’s Time!! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now!
NewProductLaunchMFT-JulyNPLMy card features the Stitched Banner Alphabet & Numbers Die-namics along with other new products.
YoonsunHur-201607-MFTRC-NPL-001To create the card, I die cut the Stitched Banner Alphabets from watercolour paper, then ink blended them with Peacock Feathers (blue) and Twisted Citron (green) Distress inks using mini ink blending tool. I also die cut the Stitched Banner Numbers from the Pineapple Prestige card stock. Next, I stamped the dinosaurs & palm tree, You’re Rawr-some set, and balloons, Beary Special Birthday set, on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in black pigment ink, then watercoloured them with Peerless watercolors. For the party hats, I stamped them from the Beary Special Birthday set in black, coloured them with Peerless watercolors, then die cut them with the Beary Special Birthday Die-namics. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the stitched banners, party hats, and sentiment banner on the front of the card using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins & droplet.

MFT July Release Countdown – Day 1

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things July Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown and all of the new products will be available at 10 pm ET today in the MFT store.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day1My card today, I am featuring the Time for the Bubbly and Flashy Florals stamp sets.
YoonsunHur-201607-MFTRC-DAY1-001To start, I created my own fresh leafy background with the Flashy Florals stamp set. I stamped the leaves on an A2 sized white paper panel with Sour Apple, Spearmint, Summer Splash, Green-Eyed Monster, Lush Lagoon hybrid inks using the Mini MISTI stamping tool, then added tiny circles from the Time for the Bubbly set with Summer Splash hybrid ink. Next, I stamped the bubble bath image from the Time for the Bubbly set on watercolour paper in black pigment ink, coloured it with Distress markers, then cut it out. I mounted all elements as shown to an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
