NewReleaseCountdown_Day5My cards today, I am featuring the Celebrate with Cake stamp setDie-namicsBirthday Speech Bubbles stamp setBig Birthday Sentiments stamp set, and Big Birthday Balloons Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201607-MFTRC-DAY5-A001For my first card, I used the Celebrate with Cake & Birthday Speech Bubbles stamp sets. First, I stamped the images, to make three-tier cake, from the Celebrate with Cake set on heavy white card stock using several colours of hybrid ink: Latte, Summer Splash, Sour Apple, Pineapple, Grape Jelly, and Red Hot. I then die cut them with the Celebrate with Cake Die-namics. Next, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the scallop rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics, and then stamped the speech bubbles from the Birthday Speech Bubbles set on it with Gravel Gray hybrid ink. I mounted all elements as shown to an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

SSS Rainbow floral background

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my rainbow flower card with my favourite Simon Says Stamp Leaves Background stamp.
YoonsunHur-20160614-SSS-001rainbowcardchallenge_logoLast week, I was tagged for the Rainbow Card Challenge by my oh-so-talented (seriously amazing) friend Debby Hughes. The Rainbow Card Challenge is that crafty people create a card with rainbow colours and tag two friends for fun! Oh, I love rainbow colours and am so excited to join!!

YoonsunHur-20160614-SSS-P01To create my rainbow subtle floral background, I directly coloured the SSS Leaves background stamp using Prima Water Soluble Oil Pastel at first. I then brushed the rainbow coloured background stamp with water using a wet paint brush and then stamped it on watercolour paper panel.
YoonsunHur-20160614-SSS-002Next, I added on the stamped panel a bit of water & white ink splatters. Once dry the panel, I stamped the Leaves Background all over the panel in Versamagic Cloud White opaque pigment ink once again. I die cut the word “YOU ARE MY FAVORITE” and then mounted the panel on kraft card base using dimensional foam tape.

To continue to see the rainbow awesomeness, I am tagging my amazingly talented friends Wanda Guess and Amy Lee – I know these two ladies are so busy at this time but I really wanna see their gorgeous rainbow projects!!

That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

MFT May Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4My cards today featuring the new Magical Unicorns stamp & Die-namics, End of the Rainbow Die-namics, and Inside & Out Stitched Stars Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201605-MFTRC-DAY4-A001I love, love, love the Birdie Brown’s unicorns. The new Magical Unicorns stamp set is literally magical!!

First, I randomly stamped the sun, palace, star, and rainbow from Magical Unicorns set on white paper panel using Gravel Gray hybrid ink. I stamped the unicorn, sun, cloud on watercolour paper in black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers before die cutting with the Magical Unicorns Die-namics. I die cut the stitched rainbow stripes from white card stock using End of the Rainbow Die-namics, then coloured them with Copic markers: R29(red), YR14(orange), Y08(yellow), YG06(green), BG15(blue), V15(purple). I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape.

YoonsunHur-201605-MFTRC-DAY4-B001Here’s another card with the Magical Unicorns stamp set. I die cut the stars from white paper panel using Inside & Out Stitched Stars Die-namics – I used the negative die cut panel because I wanted to put the glitter powders inside the star-shaped windows. Oh, I love the rainbow-coloured glitter above the adorable unicorn! It looks so dreamy!!
