The Card Concept #17 – Be Inspired…

Hello folks,
Today I am sharing a new The Card Concept #17 Yay!!

InspirationPhoto17Here is the inspiration photo for The Card Concept #17. A large olive green flower is so pretty!

And… here is my take on the picture:
20140815-No17-01I love green colour. Especially I feel refreshed with white & green colour combo!

For the greenish background panel, I chose Hero Arts Everything Flowers background stamp. I heat embossed it onto the watercolour paper in white at first. I then blended on the panel using Hero Arts Shadow Ink Lime Green Mid-Tone and Distress Ink Mowed Lawn. Dye inks dry quickly and will work well on many types of paper. I love dye inks very much :D

For elegant and classy looks, I used lace trim and stitched grosgrain ribbon – stitched ribbon was inspired by the stitched headboard – and I used word die ‘LOVE’ instead of stamping for sentiment. I decorated white flowers and silver sequins for finishing touch!

Here is what I came up with:

For this card, I chose 3 awesome stamp sets. First was Simon Says Stamp Best Mom Ever for roses, second was Paper Smooches Botanicals 2 and the last was Simply Fabulous Sayings MFT Stamps for sentiment. They are all really AWESOME STAMP SETS!

20140718-ric64-02I made light grey panel with Distress Ink Weathered Wood at first. I then stamped roses and leaves using VersaFine Pigment ink Onyx Black. Next step was… watercolouring! Yay!! :D I used several Distress inks for watercolouring as usual but, used white roses using acrylic paint for standing out in bold relief. I spritzed Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz Frost on the floral surface for finishing touch.

20140718-ric64-03There was a full of DIY spirit in my tiny craft room hahaha…

You are my STAR!

Hello folks,
Today, I want to show you my two different version with one stamp card :D

Let me show you the first card here:
20140711-01I chose absolutely gorgeous Hero Arts Constellation Background stamp for this card. It is really beautiful!!

I heat embossed on the white cardstock using Ranger Embossing Powder Seaform White at first and then sponged onto it using several colour Distress inks. I then spritzed fresh water onto the background paper for making watercolour look. For sentiment, I used On Target Stamp by Mama Elephant and added some gold shape sequins as an embellishment. OH! finally I stamped Korean letters in black between constellation. I have Korean letter – Korean is my first language –  stamp sets and they are so adorable! Combining the letters in this card means ‘I LOVE YOU’ :D

Here is a detailed view:

20140711-03It is kind of a masculine card although there is a glitter butterfly :D

I heat embossed on the white paper in gold and silver. For sentiment I chose Simply Fabulous Sayings MFT Stamps and then heat embossed on the vellum paper in black. I added a glitter butterfly and several enamel dots for finishing touch.

Logoric63-JustCavalli
Here is my card for ric #63 challenge:
20140704-01
For this card, I chose Damask Designs MFT Stamps to make a focal point. Firstly, I made deep blue base using Studio Calico Color Theory Ink Deja Blue. I then stamped the largest damask stamp on the watercolour paper using several colour distress ink pads. When I stamp it onto the paper, I spritzed fresh water the stamp lightly and then pressed it onto watercolour paper. I then added more water on the stamped image using paint brush. For sentiment, I chose it from On Target Stamp by Mama Elephant and stamped it diagonally. I coated on the stamped image using glossy accents for finishing touch.

20140704-03I feel like an artist! LOL!!
