To create the first card, I used masking technique. 1)I die cut flowers & leaves from stamping mask paper using the dies that coordinate with a Build-able Blooms Stamp Set. I positioned the mask die cuts on the white panel, adhered them in place. I then blended on the panel with Peach Bellini Hybrid Ink using blending tool. 2)When the panel is dry, I removed the masks and then stamped  a flower image using Nightshift Blue Hybrid Ink.

I love peach & deep blue colour combo -it is a unique and pretty :D

Exciting news! – MFT Design Team

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Today, I have some super exciting news to share – yes, it’s no longer a secret! From May, I will become part of ‘My Favourite Things‘ Design Team! I still can’t believe that this is really happening to me, but it’s true!

Back in March, I received an email from sweet Jody saying: “We are excited to extend you an invitation to join our Design Team.” I was really surprised… Wh..What??? Me? ME?? Is it April Fools’ Day?! I checked the calendar over and over again but… *screams* It was only March! It wasn’t an April Fools’ Day joke!

Yes, it is all very REAL and I am SO honoured and happy to be part of the Amazing team!! YAY! I feel like I’m in Heaven!!

I have specially designed these cards, to show my appreciation and to thank all of the MFT members who have given me with opportunity to become part of this fabulous team.

As you may already know, making card with dies isn’t exactly my style. But, MFT flower dies are SO special to me. These flower dies opened my eyes into the world of handcraft and I instantly fell in love with the dies the moment I saw them, and have continued to make paper flowers almost every day! :D
