MFT January Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! It’s Time!! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now! I can’t wait to see what you guys create with them :D

I am focusing on the Scenic Safari Die-namics and Puffy Clouds Die-namics in January.

For my first two cards, I used Scenic Safari Die-namics along with adorable critters.
MFTRC-201512-DEC-NPL-B01Perhaps you have seen this card in December last year. I also focused on the Scenic Safari Die-namics last month.
YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-NPL-A001And I made another adorable scene with the same Scenic Safari Die-namics this month. I think the Scenic Safari Die-namics is the best friend with all adorable animal stamp sets!!

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 1

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown!!
NewReleaseCountdown_Day1Today I want to share with you a couple cards that I’ve made using Cheeky Monkey stamp set, Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-DAY1-A001Oh, I love so adorable monkeys from Cheeky Monkey stamp set!!

First I 1) Stamped bananas from Cheeky Monkey set at the bottom part of watercolour paper panel using black pigment ink, then coloured them with Derwent Watercolour pencils. 2) Stamped the monkey on white card stock using Black Licorice Hybrid ink, coloured it with Copic markers, then die cut it with Cheeky Monkey Die-namics. 3) Die cut Stitched Cloud Edges from white card stock, blended them with Summer Splash, Lush Lagoon dye inks using mini blending tool. 4) Die cut Sunny Skies from yellow card stock. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 size white card base.

YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-DAY1-B001For my second card, I made romantic Valentine’s day card with Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics. For my own watercolour background, I used watercolor smooshing technique. I then die cut hearts from Ripe Raspberry, Tickled Pink, Lemon Chiffon card stocks using Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics. I layered stitched heart die cuts and then decorated diamond, love arrow, and sentiment banner over the layered hearts.

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 2

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 2.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day2Today I want to share with you a couple cards that I’ve made using Undeniable Chemistry stamp set, Chemistry Set Die-namics, and Diamonds Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-DAY2-B001For my first card, I 1) Stamped chemical elements from Undeniable Chemistry set onto watercolour paper panel using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2) Blended on the stamped panel with MFT dye inks: (from the top left-hand corner) Red Hot, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Blueberry, and Pure Plum. 3) Added water droplets and opaque white ink splatters. 4) Die cut Chemistry Set from white card stock, inked them with Razzle Berry and Blu Raspberry dye inks. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 size white card base using double-side tape.

YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-DAY2-A001For my second card, I 1) Stamped Mini Hearts Background onto watercolour paper using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2) Trimmed it with Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 3) Watercoloured the stamped panel with Picked Raspberry Distress ink. 4) Die cut Diamonds from white card stock five times each, made two thicker diamond die cuts, then gold heat embossed. 5) Stamped the sentiment from So Much Love set on white card stock using Black Licorice Hybrid ink, die cut it with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 size white card base. 6) embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 3

Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 3.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day3Today I am focusing on the Sketched Blooms stamp set. I bet it is a MUST-HAVE for people wanting to make unique and artistic floral themed cards!!
YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-DAY3-A001For my first card, I 1) Stamped the larger flowers from Sketched Blooms set onto white paper panel using Red Hot and Paver Red hybrid inks, then tiny flowers in Lemon Drop hybrid ink. 2) Stamped the leaves from So Much Love set in Gumdrop Green and Spearmint hybrid inks. 3) Added some opaque white ink splatters. 4) Stamped the sentiment from Love You More set using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 5) Mounted the stamped panel on A2 size white card base. 6) Embellished with a few PPP gold sequins.

YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-DAY3-B001For my second card, I made watercolour flower card. First I stamped the flower stalks from Sketched Blooms set onto watercolour paper using black pigment ink. I then coloured flowers on the stamped paper with my SinHan watercolour paints, trimmed the watercoloured paper with Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. For the sentiment, I wanted to make it simple and bold, I stamped the word “LOVE” from So Much Love set on black card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. I mounted all elements as shown to A2 size white card base, then added some opaque white ink splatters and clear sequins for finishing touches.

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4Today I am focusing on the new Ewe Are the Best stamp set.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-201601-MFTRC-DAY4-A001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the images from Ewe Are the Best set onto watercolour paper using black pigment ink. 2) coloured them with Distress markers, then die cut them with Ewe Are the Best Die-namics. 3) Die cut Snow Drifts Cover-Up from white card stock, then blended each negative pieces with MFT dye inks using mini blending tool. 4) Adhered the double-side tape to the back of the Snow Drifts Cover-Up die-cut panel, inlaid all inked pieces to the panel. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 size white card base. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
