MFT March Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! It’s Time!! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now! I can’t wait to see what you guys create with them :D
NewProductLaunchIn March, I am featuring a new Stitched Oval Scallop Frames Die-namics. I think it would be a great match for feminine cards!!
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-NPL-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped roses from Roses All Over background stamp onto white card base using Gravel Gray hybrid ink (I love this new grey colour!). 2) Die cut Stitched Oval Scallop Frames from pearl white card stock. 3) Die cut butterflies from colour card stocks using Flutter of Butterflies Lace Die-namics. 4) Stamped the sentiment from Kind Thanks set on the stamped base using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 5) Mounted two oval frames and layered butterfly as shown to the stamped base using double-sided tape. 6) Embellished a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT March Release Countdown – Day 1

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown!!
NewReleaseCountdown_Day1Today I am sharing with you the card that I’ve made using Tweet Friends, Beautiful Blooms stamp sets and Cheerful Cages Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY1-A001To create this card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using stitched mini scallop rectangle die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. 2) Stamped the flowers and leaves from Beautiful Blooms set on watercolour paper panel with several colours of hybrid ink, watercoloured some flowers using Peerless watercolours. 3) Die cut bird cage from pearl white card stock using Cheerful Cages Die-namics. 4) Stamped the bird from Tweet Friends set on watercolour paper in pigment black, coloured it with Distress markers. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT March Release Countdown – Day 2

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown Day 2.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day2Today I am sharing with you the cards that I’ve made using Sweet Succulents and Get Down to Business stamp sets.
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY2-B001For my first card, I made loose watercolour succulents card. First I 1) Stamped the succulents from Sweet Succulents set onto watercolour paper panel in pigment black. 2) Coloured them (loosely) with Distress inks using water brush – I used Crushed Olive, Evergreen Bough, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Wild Honey, and Festive Berries Distress inks 3) Spritzed with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist, then added black ink splatters. 4) White heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock. 5) Mounted two panels as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY2-B002YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY2-C001For my second card with the Sweet Succulents stamp set, I randomly stamped the succulents onto watercolour paper in pigment black ink, then trimmed the panel using Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I then painted a background around them using Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn Distress inks. I stamped the sentiment from Sweet Succulents set on black card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed, then die cut it using fishtail banner die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. Finally I mounted two panels as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape.

I stamped the images from Get Down to Business set onto watercolour paper panel using black pigment ink and then coloured them with Peerless watercolours. Oh, this stamp set is perfect for masculine cards!

MFT March Release Countdown – Day 3

Hello crafty friends, blessed Sunday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown Day 3.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day3Today I am sharing with you a shaker card that I’ve made using Beautiful Blooms stamp set.
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY3-001For my floral background, I randomly stamped the flowers and leaves from Beautiful Blooms set on white paper panel using several colours of MFT hybrid ink. For the shaker window, I used Stitched Oval Scallop Frames Die-namics. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Thanks” from pearl white card stock using Twice the Thanks Die-namics five times, glued them together, then placed it over shaker window using a fine tip glue pen.

MFT March Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4Today I am featuring the Birdie Brown Strike up the Band stamp set.
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY4-A001For my first card, I made a watercolour card with the Strike up the Band set. First I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 2) Die cut Paris Skyline from masking paper, then placed the mask die cut over my watercolour paper panel and blended around the mask area with Distress inks using mini blending tool – I used Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick Distress inks. 3) Removed the mask and brushed the blended area with water. 4) Masked the same area once again, then stamped Music Background (as shown in the picture) on the panel using Natural dye ink. 4) Stamped the bunnies from Strike up the Band set on watercolour paper using Antique Linen Distress ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolours, then die cut them using Strike up the Band Die-namics. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a PPP clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY4-B001Here is another card with the Strike up the Band set. For my soft blue sky background, I used the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics. I die cut Stitched Cloud Edges from scrap paper, placed the cloud die cut on white card stock, then sponged around the die cut with Tumbled Glass Distress ink using a sponge dauber. Lastly I trimmed it using Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. For the bunnies, I stamped them on watercolour paper in pigment black, coloured them with Peerless watercolours, then die cut them with Strike up the Band Die-namics.
