SSS-DieCember-Banner
DieCember™ dies are so delicate and beautiful, and I especially love (you can guess) Single Roses dies :D
YoonsunHur-20151211-SSS-001For my first card, I used the new Stitched Dress Up Tags, Single Roses Dies, and Painted Hugs Die. First I 1) Die cut Stitched Dress Up Tag from watercolour paper. 2) Coloured onto the tag with Festive BerriesFired Brick, Wild HoneyMustard Seed, and Picked Raspberry Distress ink using a wet paintbrush. Then I spritzed Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist all over the watercoloured tag, added some opaque white ink splatters. 3) Die cut roses and leaves from white card stock using Single Roses dies, then positioned Single Roses dies on the watercoloured tag in place, die cut them from it. 4) Applied adhesive to the back of the tag, then inlaid all the pieces of coloured & white die cut together. 6) Die cut the “Hugs” word from white card stock (5 times), glued them together, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. 7) Stamped the sentiments from the Big Scripty Greetings stamp set randomly on Ivory card base using Fog Gray dye ink. 8) Mounted the tag as shown to the Ivory card base using dimensional foam tape.

MFTRC-201512-DEC-DAY1-B01For my second card, I made (kind of) messy but (I feel) artsy foliage card :D First I randomly stamped the leaves from the Tropical Flowers stamp set onto watercolour paper panel with MFT dye inks, then coloured the rest areas of the stamped panel with Summer Splash, Sour Apple dye inks using a wet paint brush. I then sprayed all over the panel using Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist, dry it using heat tool. To finish the background off, I added some white ink splatters. For my sentiment, I used Doubly Amazing Die-namics and Amazing stamp set.
MFTRC-201512-DEC-DAY1-B02
MFTRC-201512-DEC-DAY1-C01This is the last sample with gorgeous Tropical Flowers stamp set!! I randomly stamped the leaves on white paper panel using MFT hybrid inks and then added a dimension to this card using Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

MFT December Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things December Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4Today I am sharing with you a couple cards that I’ve made using Mini Modern Blooms stamp set. Many of you may know, I love making floral themed cards and a new Mini Modern Blooms stamp set is definitely one of my favourite stamps!!
MFTRC-201512-DEC-DAY4-A01For my background, I stamped the Etched Tribal Background on white card stock using Kraft hybrid ink, then trimmed it with Blueprints 25 Die-namics. Using Peek-a-boo circles border inside Blueprints 25 Die-namic, I made tiny holes at the left-hand corner and then stitched with natural twine. For the small flowers, I stamped them on white card stock using MFT hybrid inks, then die cut them with Mini Modern Blooms Die-namics. And for the watercoloured leaves, I die cut them from watercolour paper using Leafy Greenery Die-namics and then coloured them with Peerless watercolours using waterbrush. From the sentiment, I die cut “Amazing” word from white card stock (3 times), affixed them together using fine tip glue pen, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. To finish it off, I mounted the background on A2 white card base using double-sided tape at first, then mounted all elements as shown to the stamped panel using dimensional foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP gold sequins.
MFTRC-201512-DEC-DAY4-A02
MFTRC-201512-DEC-DAY4-B01For my second card, I made one layer card with Mini Modern Blooms stamp set. First I 1) Die cut a circle from masking paper, adhered the circle mask to a watercolour paper panel. 2) Stamped flowers and leaves from the Mini Modern Blooms stamp set with MFT hybrid inks around the circle mask and then removed the mask. 3) Stamped the sentiment from the Encouraging Words stamp set inside the circle area using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 4) Embellished with a few PPP 4mm gold sequins.

Share Handmade Kindness Challenge: Week 4

Hello, hello crafty friends, long time no see!
I recently visited my hometown, South Korea. I was so happy with my family and friends for the last three weeks. But, I really missed my craft desk and all of you at the same time!! Hope you are doing very well :D
Jen-SHKindnessToday I want to share with you three cards that I’ve made for the Share Handmade Kindness challenge that amazingly beautiful Jennifer McGuire is hosting over on her site.
JEN-SHK20151124-001-600pxI was super happy when I received (and opened) this package from Jennifer, aren’t they amazing?!
JEN-SHK20151124-002-600pxYES! Kindness is Magic!! It is so true! And I feel I am so blessed because I can share my handmade kindness to everyone, everywhere!! Week 4 (November 23-29) will focus on sharing any kind of handmade kindness with strangers. When I thought about strangers who need the encouragement, the words ‘homeless’ came to my mind. My church members are helping several homeless people cope with their difficult condition, so I decided to send my kindness to those homeless people through my handmade cards.

JEN-SHK20151124-003-600pxIf you are one of my Instagram followers, you’ve already seen this watercolour flower. I painted it onto watercolour paper. Then I trimmed it with MFT Blueprints 25 Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from the beautiful Hero Arts Acts of Kindness stamp set on the watercoloured paper panel using black pigment ink. I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
JEN-SHK20151124-004-600px
JEN-SHK20151124-005-600pxMy second card is so simple watercolour card. First, I 1) coloured onto watercolour paper panel with MFT dye inks using a wide paintbrush. 2) Stamped the sentiment in the top right-hand corner of watercoloured panel with black pigment ink. 3) Added some ink splatters. 4) Die cut the small sized Cross from white card stock using SSS Crosses die and then affixed it using dimensional foam tape. 5) Mounted it on SSS Fog Gray card stock using double-sided tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
JEN-SHK20151124-006-600px
JEN-SHK20151124-007-600pxFor my last card today, I used one of ‘Random Quotes of Kindness’ cards in the package. I 1) Stamped the sentiments from the Hero Arts Acts of Kindness stamp set on white card base using SSS Fog Gray dye ink. 2) Stamped the Christmas leaves from the Hero Arts Holiday Pine Branches stamp set on aqua coloured ‘Quotes of Kindness’ card using embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, then added dark shading with a Copic marker C3. 3) Mounted the stamped panel on card base using dimensional foam tape. 4) Embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.
JEN-SHK20151124-008-600pxI hope you’ll join in this beautiful ‘Sharing Handmade Kindness’ challenge! Jennifer is giving away some awesome prizes, too!!
