Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown Day 4.
Today I will be sharing with you my cards with the Space Explorer Stamp Set and Sketched Blooms 2 Stamp Set along with other goodies.
I started by stamping all images from the Space Explorer set on watercolour paper panel in pigment black ink – I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool. I then coloured them with Peerless watercolors and water brush. I used Faded Jeans Distress ink for the dark blue background. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and then mounted it on the Primitive White card base using foam tape. Then I added the sentiment banner and a few 3mm clear sequins.

For my second card, I made a (kind of) CAS floral card. I 1) Die cut a piece of white card stock using stitched rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 2) Stamped flowers from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on the panel using Gravel Gray hybrid ink. 3) Stamped the word “Hugs” from the Lots of Hugs set on the bottom of the panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then heat embossed a coordinating sentiment in white. 4) Stamped some flowers from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on watercolour paper in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolors, and then fussy cut them. 5) Mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements on it using foam tape.
Sending big hugs and lots of love to you all!!

As you may know, I like to make my own patterned background with stamps or dies, like to fill the background with stamped images but this time, I didn’t do it. This white background without images makes the watercoloured leaves more shining and beautiful!
