SSS Distress Oxide Ink Blending

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my Distress Oxide Ink blended backgrounds using some SSS floral dies and, of course, Distress Oxide Inks. My cards today, I was totally inspired by Kristina’s Distress Oxide Ink Blending Combinations series.
For today’s backgrounds, I used cold press watercolour paper pad & mini round blending tools. Cold press watercolour paper has a bit of rough textured surface but smoothly blended with Distress Oxide Inks.

To blend the first background, I used Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, and Fired Brick Distress Oxide Inks.
To blend the second background, I used Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks.
To blend the last background, I used Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks.

For my first card, I die cut the Dahlia Stem from white card stock several times, and then glued them together using fine tip glue pen. I also die cut tiny butterflies from white card stock using the Flickering Butterflies Die. For the sentiment, I used the Tiny Words Stamp Set.

For my second card, I adhered white Sweet Tulip and tiny butterflies onto the Distress Oxide Ink background panel.

For my last card today, I used the Outline Clustered Leaves and the Flickering Butterflies Dies.
All three cards, I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

PPP March Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy Thursday, crafty friends!
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh March 2019 Product Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Joni Nina Andaya’s blog you are on the right track.

Spring has come to the PPP house. There are lots of fresh & beautiful sets in March! I love Spring Frame & Bold Butterflies Dies in particular!
I started by die cutting Spring Frame from white card stock. I then coloured all flowers & leaves with alcohol markers.
I die cut a butterfly from white card stock using the Bold Butterflies Dies, and then inked up the centre of it with Wild Honey Distress ink.
I die cut the Spring Frame from white card stock once more, trimmed off all flowers & leaves. I then inked up the stitched frame with Antique Linen Distress ink, adhered it onto the coloured frame. I stamped the sentiment from the Encouraging Greetings Set on white card base with pigment black ink, and then mounted all elements using foam tape.
The leaves with clear droplets look fresher – it looks like spring raindrops leaves!

For my second card, I used the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp & Die Set.
I heat embossed butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies Set in gold, watercoloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies.
