Your Own Cactus!

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to show you my another cactus card for entering Hero Arts Nature Challenge!
nature-challengeI love watercolouring and Hero Arts newly released Your Own Cactus Stamp set so much!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150311-01OH YES! I am crazy about no-line watercolouring! It is SO fun!!

To create this card, 1)I stamped cacti & pots on the watercolour paper panel using Distress Ink Antique Linen. I used post-it note to mask stamped images to stamp cacti overlapping. 2)Colouring!! I coloured stamped images with Distress markers using Detailer Waterbrush –cacti: Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles, Forest Moss / cactus flowers: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany / pots: Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs, Rusty Hinge / floor: Pumice Stone. 3)For the sentiment: I stamped it with Distress Ink Vintage Photo and smudged it with fresh water. 4)Sparkly clear sequins were the finishing touches.

SSS Hop To It – Work Out

Hello crafty friends, I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! I went to the IKEA last Saturday and Oh! I’ve found a very awesome stuff -Ikea’s FREE paper measuring tapes- at the entrance for SSS Work Out card lol!

To create this card, I made no-line watercolour card and used Work Out Stamp Set as my main supply. 1)I stamped the girl on the watercolour paper using Distress Ink Antique Linen. 2)I coloured the girl image with Distress markers -brunette hair: Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs / face & body: Tattered Rose / hairband & clothes: Barn Door, Black Soot / dumbbell: Pumice Stone, Chipped Sapphire / sneaker: Broken China, Chipped Sapphire 3)I die cut it using matching die. 4)I stamped all sentiments from the set centre of the cardstock using Avery Elle Pigment Ink Fog. 5)I adhered the paper measuring tape at the bottom of the cardstock and tied up with a blue twine. 6)I affixed the girl image over the sentiments using dimensional foam tape. 7)Some clear sequins were the finishing touches.

SSS Abby’s Spring Showers

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
Simon Says Stamp newly released ‘Hop To It‘ products have a wide range of selections now -cute bear and bunny, healthy girls, encouraging sentiments, artful flowers, holy cross for Easter, etc… Oh YES! The newest SSS products are fantastic!!

Today I want to share with you two cards with super adorable Abby’s Spring Showers Stamp Set.

20150225-SSS-HopToIt03My first card is no-line watercolour card. These days, I am obsessed with no-line watercolouring. Kristina‘s no-line coloring technique is truly amazing!!

20150225-SSS-HopToIt05To create my card, 1) I stamped Abby on the watercolour paper using Distress Ink Antique Linen at first. 2) I coloured Abby with Distress markers -hair: Vintage Photo, Brushed Corduroy / face & body: Tattered Rose / clothes: Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Mustard Seed / Ugg boots: Vintage Photo, Barn Door. 3) I stamped bunny using Distress Ink Pumice Stone and blended it with water using waterbrush. 4) I cut them out of the watercolour paper using matching dies. 5) I stamped droplets on the card base using SSS Dye Ink Sea Glass Blue and the water under the Abby’s boots using SSS Dye Ink Audrey Blue. 6) I adhered Abby and bunny using dimensional foam tape. 7) Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. 8) Different sized clear sequins were the finishing touches.

Here is my second card with Abby’s Spring Showers Stamp Set:
20150225-SSS-HopToIt01Oh… how cute he -the bear- is!! This bear is super duper cute and I love him SO much!! Lots of hearts is falling from the sky.

For this card, 1) I stamped bear, flowerpot, umbrella on the Neenah solar white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured them with polychromos coloured pencils. 2) I cut the image panel out of the white paper using SSS Stitches Rectangles Die. 3) I stamped the hearts using SSS Cotton Candy -soft pink- and Hero Arts Neon Red. 3) I adhered the panel on the yellow cardstock using dimensional foam tape. 4) I stamped ‘BEAR HUGZ’ sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black and heat embossed it in clear. 4) I added sparkly clear sequins as always :D
