Today I want to share with you a couple Christmas cards I’ve made using SSS Create Joy Ornament Wreath Dies.
These brand-new wreath dies are so versatile and inspirational!! We can create a lot of different styles of cards with them.
For my first card, I used Ring Wreath Die. For my sparkly ring wreath, I 1) Die cut Ring Wreath from A2 size white paper panel, then adhered the sticky paper to the back of the negative die-cut panel. 3) Inlaid the positive ring wreath die cut securely in place to the negative die-cut panel. 4) filled in all the little circles with several colours of glitter powders.
Oh, I love it so much! There is a whole lot of sparkle going on, don’t you think?!
For my second card, it was no different to the way I made it the first card. But this time, I used Ornament Wreath Die and several colours of card stocks instead of glitter powders.
I wanted to show you how great these 2 wreath dies look on cards–they are the perfect size!

Today I am sharing with you my summery cards with SSS Splash of Color ‘Hello’ die!
For my first card, I made a subtle tone-on-tone background. I 1) Die cut ‘Hello‘ word from the white card stock (10 times) and then adhered them on the white panel, added pearl gold ink splatters. 2) Die cut ‘Hello‘ from the Lemon Chiffon, Sea Glass, Green Apple card stocks (3 times each), made thicker die cuts. 3) Mounted them as shown to the Fog Gray card base. 4) Embellished with PPP clear sequins.
For my second card, I used ‘Hello‘ negative panel. 1) I positioned ‘Hello’ word die on the white panel and die cut 3 times -I kept my positive pieces for future projects. 2) For my own watercolour background, I coloured on the watercolour paper with MFT Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash dye inks using a wet paintbrush, added white ink splatters. 3) I adhered the die-cut panel to the watercolour panel using dimensional foam tape. 4) I added small sentiment banner, white thread, and enamel dots for finishing touches.

Welcome to My Favorite Things July Die-namics Design! This month’s theme is Rise to the Occasion.
Join us for this month’s Die-namics Design as we go up, up, and away with projects featuring balloon Die-namics. Patterned, painted, textured, and peek-a-boo – so many fun embellishing options with this iconic image that just says party. Celebrate with us, won’t you?
Here is what I came up with:
To create the card, I 1) Blended on the top portion of the watercolour panel with Wild Cherry, Tickled Pink, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash dye inks using mini blending tool, added white ink splatters. 2) Trimmed the inked panel with Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 3) Inked on the watercolour paper with dye inks, die cut balloons with Birthday Wishes & Balloons Die-namics. 4) Stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Wishes & Balloons Stamp Set on the bottom portion of the inked panel using embossing ink, heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to the card base.
