SSS Floral Mother’s Day Cards

Hello crafty friends! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Today I have a couple of floral Mother’s Day cards with SSS Sweet Friend Set. :D

I started by stamping flowers & leaves from the Sweet Friend set on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I then coloured all stamped images with Copic markers. For red flowers, I used R27, R20, R83 and R39 – coloured edge of each petals with R27 first, blended with lighter colours (R20, R83), then lastly added shade with the darkest colour (R39). For pink flowers, I used R22, R81 and R85.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the “Love You” circle shaped sentiment from the Love and Valentines Word Mix 2 set in gold, then cut it using the Stitched Circle die.

I added tiny butterflies onto flowers – beautiful flowers & butterflies are a perfect match, right?!!

Here is another Mother’s Day card with the Sweet Friend set. I stamped & Copic marker coloured some flowers, then die cut them with the matching dies. For the white leaves, I used the detailed leaf die in the Detailed Rose die set.

For a mini kraft woodgrain envelope, I used the Mini Interactive Envelope die. For the sentiment, I die cut the “Mom” from metallic gold using the Script Mom die.

Flowers, butterflies and lovely script “Mom” sentiment are perfect for a beautiful Mother’s Day card. :D

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Keep smiling and be blessed. God bless you all.

SSS Copic coloured Poppies

Hello, hello crafty friends. I hope you are having a very healthy weekend!!
Hmm… I feel so sad that it’s been over a month since I’ve made a new blog post.. I really, really missed my inky fingers, messy craft desk and many crafty friends! Now I’m so happy to share with you my Copic-coloured floral card!! :D
My today’s card, I used the Poppies Background Stamp along with other SSS products. I stamped the Poppies Background onto watercolour paper using Memento Rich Cocoa dye ink first, and then trimmed the stamped paper with A2 sized Basic Rectangle die. I coloured the stamped poppies with Copic markers:
Flower petals: (light to dark) R39 Garnet Dark Red, R29 Lipstick Red, R24 Prawn Red
Stamens: E59 Walnut Dark Brown, YR14 Caramel
Stems: E59 Walnut Dark Brown, E25 Caribe Cocoa.
After colouring, I added floral textures onto the floral panel using the Detail Petal Plate die.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Like You” from white cardstock, shadow from Lipstick Red cardstock, then glue together. I die cut tiny butterflies from white cardstock using the Flickering Butterflies die as well. I mounted the floral panel on A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!!

PPP June Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends! Hope you stay healthy and well.
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh June 2020 Product Release Blog Hop. PPP June products are full of cuteness and loveliness :D If you arrived here from the Mayra’s Designs you are on the right track.

For my first card I’m featuring the new Monkey Friends stamp & die set, Stitched Leafy Borders die, Stitched Strips die and Leaves stencil. These are all so lovely, aren’t they?
I started by making leafy background with the Leaves stencil in the Layered Leaves & Flowers stencil set. I placed the stencil over 4.25″ x 5.5″ watercolour paper panel in place, brushed with green dye ink. I stamped adorable monkeys from the Monkey Friends set on white cardstock using black dye ink, coloured it with Copic markers, then die cut it with the coordinating die.
I die cut the Stitched Leafy Border from watercolour paper, and then applied green dye ink to it. I die cut Stitched Strips from green coloured cardstock as well. For the sentiments, I die cut the word “Hello” from white cardstock using the Hello Friend Script die, and white heat embossed another sentiment on black cardstock using the Simple Sentiments stamp set.
I mounted the green leafy background on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape. I added Grass Green seed beads & clear droplets.

For my second card, I used the Jungle Friends stamp & die set along with other brand new products. To create the card, 1) I die cut Stitched Leafy Border from watercolour paper, adhered them on the top part of A2 sized white paper panel, then inked with Evergreen Bough & Crushed Olive Distress inks. 2) Stamped cute Jungle Friends on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, coloured them with Copic markers, die cut them with the coordinating dies. 3) Die cut the Hi Shaker from white cardstock. 4) Die cut thin stitched strips from green coloured cardstock. 5) Die cut grassy borders from green cardstock using the Nature Essentials die set.
I adhered coloured critters behind the “Hi” sentiment – I added stitched leaves. I LOVE the Jungle Friends! So CUTE!!

My last card for the hop, I used the Layered Leaves & Flowers stencil set.
This set has 3 layered stencils – Leaves, flower petals and berries & stamens.
I cut A2 sized panel from watercolour paper first, and then placed the leaves stencil onto it in place. I brushed over the leaves stencil using a green dye ink to fill the panel, applied red dye ink over the petals stencil, applied lavender dye ink over the berries stencil.
I mounted the floral background panel onto white card base using double-sided tape first, and then decorated the card with seed beads – Azalea Pink for flowers, Grass Green for leaves and Sunshine for berries. For the sentiment on the center of the card, I used the Thinking of You Script die.
