My card today has been inspired by Jennifer McGuire’s beautiful watercolour flower card in the Case Study 4th Anniversary blog hop.

And… here’s my take on her card:
20140820-01 Recently I bought several Prima Marketing Bloom girls and I thought JOY Bloom Girl stamp was good for following Jen’s pearlised watercolouring! At first, I stamped it onto the watercolour paper using black pigment ink and did watercolouring. I heat embossed the flowers in white separately and then painted them using bluish distress inks with liquid pearls. I then affixed pearlised painted flowers onto the watercolour panel using foam adhesive for 3D dimensions.

To my special Mother – OCC SYS2 Day 5

Hello folks, Phew~~ I did my homework of OCC Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 5.
I was inspired by one of awesome teachers Shari Carroll’s card.

Here is what I came up with:
20140813-OutlineStamps01 I followed Shari’s dimensional paper piecing technique in the OCC Stretch Your Stamps 2 class and I am so happy to have this beautiful Clearly Besotted Fresh Flowers Stamp Set. Yay!! I especially liked the burnishing technique Shari used to make the petals more realistic.

Watercolour Blooming!

Watercolour mood today! I love to do watercolouring! I am still learning and practicing over and over again :D

Here is my card:

I made watercolour card with lovely Clearly Besotted Stamps Blooming. Blooming stamp set is so adorable and very good for faux hand-painting technique :D

I chose red and gold colour combinations in this card (Red rose is quite a traditional but very awesome!). I sponged on the white paper with Distress Ink Fired Brick at first. I then layered a mini heart stencil over the watercolour paper and gently applied it with gold embossing paste. Now, it is time to do watercolouring! I stamped rose using Distress Ink Fired Brick and leaves in Mowed Lawn via second generation stamping. I then painted them with a fine brush. I added some red watercolour spots, red sequins, and clear rhinestones for finishing touch.

Blooming Today!

Hello folks,
Today, I made my friend’s birthday card with gorgeous Blooming stamps by Clearly Besotted. I love flower stamps very much indeed!!

Here is my card:

I like yellow and grey colour combinations. It looks so modern, clean, and bold :D

I stamped roses, leaves, and several different sized circles as background patterns in VersaFine Pigment Ink Smokey Grey at first and stamped one rose in yellow stand out in other petals. I then chose ‘Hello beautiful’ sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Summer Garden and heat embossed it with Ranger Embossing Powder Seaform White. At the bottom of the card, I sponged white cardstock in Distress Ink Mustard Seed and added water splatters for fun!

20140630-02 Oh! one more main part of my supplies! I used ‘Zig Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Clear’ on the yellow rose petals.

Gallery Idol Round 2: Bride of May

When I first knew the theme, I thought it would be easy for me because, I have many dies. Buttttttt… It was so hard to make the right card.. I was above myself. Haha…
Honestly, I cut each one of all my dies and arranged all die cuts on the desk! Thinking… thinking… thinking… I was thinking what I was going to make over and over again.

Sigh……

Oh!! I hit on the best idea all of a sudden! ‘BRIDE OF MAY‘ LOL!!

I chose lovely Spellbinders In’spire Die-Silhouette, Clearly Besotted Fancy Feathers Die Collection, and Clearly Besotted Love Word Die. My focal point is ‘LOVE WORD’ die cut. Normally I use stamps when I decorate a card with sentiment but, for round two, I wanted to carry out my duties faithfully.
