Clearly Besotted – Colour Chameleon

Hello crafty friends, happy Sunday!
Today I want to share with you my fun card with the recently released Clearly Besotted Colour Chameleon stamp set.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160717-CBesotted-001To start, I stamped the paint stripe from the set on an A2 sized white paper panel in rainbow colours using the Mini MISTI stamping tool – I used the Altenew Ruby Red, Cotton Candy, Warm Sunshine, Frayed Leaf, Ocean Waves, and Deep Iris dye inks. I then stamped the adorable chameleons on a separate white card stock in MFT Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them as shown in the picture with Copic sketch markers, then fussy cut them – Chameleons can adapt their colours to their surroundings so I just wanted to express their behaviour :D Finally, I mounted the panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the chameleons on the card using dimensional foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins for finishing touches.

Clearly Besotted – Tickle My Fancy

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I want to share with you my card with the newly released Clearly Besotted Tickle My Fancy stamp set – The lined & solid feather images are truly gorgeous!!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160708-CBesotted-001To start, I randomly stamped the feathers from the Tickle My Fancy set on watercolour paper panel using VersaMark embossing ink, then heat embossed with Hero Arts clear embossing powder. Next, I ink blended on the panel with Distress inks using mini ink blending tool: Festive Berries, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick, Tea Dye, and Twisted Citron. And then I spritzed the ink blended panel with water using a Mini Mister, added Perfect Pearls Mist & red ink splatters. I stamped the feathers on white card stock using the Altenew Caramel Toffee & Grapevine dye inks, then fussy cut them. Once the panel was dry, I die cut verticals of small holes from the left side of the panel using circles border die in the MFT Blueprints 25 Die-namics, then decorated with the stamped feather cuts and natural white twine. I taped red washi tape on the left side of the card first, and then mounted the panel using dimensional foam tape.

Clearly Besotted – You’re sweet!

Today I want to share with you a cute card with the Clearly Besotted Sweet Treats stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160625-CBesotted-001CBesotted-SweetTreatsI love these cute critters so I decided to use all of them in my card. First, I 1) Die cut a piece of heavy white card stock using the scallop panel in the MFT Blueprints 27 Die-namics. 2) Stamped the cute images from the Sweet Treats set on the centre of the panel in Memento Desert Sand dye ink – I used Mini MISTI stamping tool. 3) Coloured them with Copic sketch markers – I did no line copic colouring technique. 4) Marked eyes, nose, mouth, fingers, and toes of each critters using Black Copic Multiliner. 4) Stamped the sentiments on a separate white card stock in black ink, then fussy cut them as small rectangle banners instead of speech bubbles. 5) Mounted the coloured panel on an A2 sized SSS Sunshine card base using dimensional foam tape first, and then added the sentiment banners on top of the card using foam tape as well.

Clearly Besotted – Baby Cards

Today I am sharing my couple of baby cards with the Clearly Besotted Littlest Onesie & Petite Baby Shower stamp sets.

YoonsunHur-20160616-CBesotted-002CBesotted-P01For my first card, I made a baby girl card with the Littlest Onesie stamp set. I randomly stamped onesies on watercolour paper with pinkish colours: SSS Rosie Cheeks dye ink, SSS Twirling Tutu, Apricot, and Sunkist hybrid inks, Hero Arts Bubble Gum, Butter Bar dye inks.
CBesotted-P02I stamped the tiny heart – it’s so cute – from the Little Things set on the stamped panel using Hero Arts Neon Red dye ink, coloured the background with Tattered Rose Distress ink using water brush. I then trimmed it with the MFT Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX Die-namics. Next, I wrapped pink stitched grosgrain ribbon at the middle of the white card base and then mounted the stamped panel on it using dimensional foam tape. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the “new baby” from the Littlest Onesie set in white, trimmed it with the small banner in the MFT Blueprints 29 Die-namics.

YoonsunHur-20160616-CBesotted-004Here is another baby card. It’s a baby boy card with the Petite Baby Shower stamp set. I made it the same way but used the different colours: SSS Blue Jay, Lake Shores, Scuba, Willow, Jellybean, Mint Candy, and Stone hybrid inks, Hero Arts Butter Bar dye ink.

Clearly Besotted – To Have and To Hold

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
Today I want to share with you my wedding card with so beautiful Clearly Besotted To Have & To Hold Stamp Set.
YoonsunHur-20160609-CBesotted-001CBesotted-ToHave-ToHoldThe wedding season is in full swing and the cards with these outlined lilies & sentiments can make all beautiful June brides so happy!!
YoonsunHur-20160609-CBesotted-002To create the card, I randomly stamped the flowers from the To Have & To Hold set on white paper panel using SSS Fog Gray dye ink. Next, I stamped the lilies on a separate watercolour paper using Tattered Rose Distress ink, coloured them with Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Festive Berries Distress inks using waterbrush – I used no-line watercoloring technique. I added the Perfect Pearls Mist all over the coloured panel. Once dry the panel, I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black. For the pink scallop frame, I die cut the frame from white card stock using the PPP Scallop Frames Dies, then inked it with Worn Lipstick Distress ink using a mini ink blending tool. Finally, I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
