MFT November Release Countdown – Day 4

Welcome to the My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you today using so super adorable Polar Bear Pals Stamp Set & Die-namics.
yoonsunhur-nov-mftrc-day4-a001These polar bears are so lovely, aren’t they? I simply stamped all images from the set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then coloured them with Distress markers. For the tiny dots, I used the Simply Snowflakes stamp set. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Deer Friends set on the Wild Cherry card stock in white, and then cut it the small banner. I mounted the watercoloured panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using foam tape.

MFT November Release Countdown – Day 5

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 5.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day5For my cards today, I used the Starry Circle Die-namics, Solid Birch Trees Die-namics along with other MFT products. With these Starry Circle and Birch Trees Die-namics, snow globe came immediately to my mind!!
yoonsunhur-nov-mftrc-day5-a001To create the card, I 1) Created my own snowflake background using the Simply Snowflakes stamp set. I randomly stamped them on an A2 sized watercolor paper panel using Grout Gray and Sno Cone hybrid inks. 2) Cut the circle window from the centre of the stamped panel using the Starry Circle Die-namics. 3) Die cut the Starry Circle from a separate watercolour paper, ink blended on it with Twisted Citron and Faded Jeans Distress inks using mini ink blending tool. 4) Die cut the Stitched Circle Frame from white card stock, adhered the acetate sheet to the back of it. 5) Die cut the snow covered trees from white card stock using the Chill Wishes Die-namics. 6) Stamped the sentiment from the Hand-Lettered Christmas set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, fussy cut it out. 7) Mounted all elements as shown to an A2 sized white card base using foam tape.

For the background, I stamped the Christmas trees from the Oh Christmas Trees set on watercolour paper panel using Grout Gray, Spearmint, Limeade hybrid inks and then added some stitched lines using the Stitched Strip Die-namics. I put birch trees inside the snow globe using the Solid Birch Trees and Birch Trees Die-namics.

Altenew & PPP Collaboration Blog Hop

My card today features the Altenew Poinsettia & Pine, Holiday Wishes stamp sets along with some PPP goodies.yoonsunhur-20161024-altenewppp-001First, I die cut the stitched arch frame from an A2 sized watercolour paper panel using the PPP Window Frames die. I then randomly stamped the images from the Altenew Poinsettia & Pine set on that window panel using VersaFine onyx black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers. For making shaker card, I used lots and lots of PPP sparkling clear sequins. For the sentiment, I used the Holiday Wishes stamp set.

Reverse Confetti – Naughty or Nice

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans, happy Tuesday!
I have a fun Christmas card to share with you today using the Naughty Or Nice Stamp Set, Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts, and Very Merry Patterned Pad.

yoonsunhur-20161025-rc-001To start, I die cut the candy cane stripe pattern from the Very Merry patterned pad using an A2 sized rectangle panel die. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Naughty Or Nice set on another patterned paper using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink, die cut it with the stitched rectangle panel die. I die cut those adorable snowflakes from ivory card stock using the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts. Finally, I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using foam tape.
yoonsunhur-20161025-rc-002After finishing it, I showed it to my nephew and said “I will give you a big Christmas present if you do many nice things”, my nephew said “I will DO!! well.. could you tick the “NICE” in advance?”. As you can see in the picture, he already did, lol!
