Waffle Flower October Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, TGIF! I am so happy to be a part of the Waffle Flower October Release Blog Hop!! If you arrived here from an amazing Laura Bassen’s blog you are on the right track!
This Christmas, make your cards stand out with Waffle Flower Christmas Tree Combo (stamp, pop-up tree die)! This tree lies flat for mailing but pops up when you pull the tab! You can make it pull on either side and lock it into place and keep the tree popped up! The matching stamp set provides you a quick way to customize your tree and the Pull-tab Tree Pop-up Add-on Die (available separately) adds another layer of dimension.

Also in Waffle Flower’s October release, you’ll find Hello Pumpkin (stamp, die, combo) that features the popular mice illustrated by Liz Mytinger in a happy fall theme; Yippee (stamp, die, combo) to help you tell your friends and family how proud you are of their success and achievements; Sweater Weather (stamp, die, combo) that can be customized to your heart’s content; Coffee Time (stamp, die, combo) is the perfect set to go with a gift card to a favorite coffee shop; My Sunshine (stamp) will help you create beautiful cards to let your friends and family know how important they are to you.

For my cards today, I used the Sweater Weather Stamp & Die Set – it’s definitely one of my favourites!

To create the card, I stamped a winter sweater on kraft card using black dye ink, coloured it with red polychromos colour pencil, die cut it with the matching die. Next, I stamped the sentiment & tiny dots from the Sweater Weather set on kraft card base using black dye ink. I decorated the card front with washi tape, Christmas coloured twine, snowflake sequins, and then adhered the sweater die cut on the centre of the card using foam tape.

Here is another card with the Sweater Weather Stamp Set. I stamped sweaters, sentiment, tiny dots on watercolour paper panel using black pigment ink first, and then watercoloured them!

Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Kymona Tracey’s blog you are on the right track!

Create stunning works of art with our Watercolor Brush Markers! The barrel is filled with water-based color, and coordinates with our line of inks. The flexible, yet sturdy bristles on the brush tip allow you to form both broad and fine strokes. Color can be applied straight from the marker, or diluted with water for a softer look!

Here is what I came up with:
For my first card, I used the Enchanted Iris stamp set along with the new Watercolor Brush Markers Spring Garden set! I stamped Irises on watercolour paper panel with black pigment ink first, and then coloured them with brand new Watercolor Brush Markers set:
Flower petals: Midnight Violet, Autumn Blaze, Warm Sunshine
Leaves: Limeade, Emerald, Moss
At the top right corner, I decorated it with the Creative Edges: Lace die cuts.

For the second card, I used the Inked Flora stamp & die set. I used the Rubellite & Warm Sunshine for flower, Limeade & Emerald for leaves.
I die cut the watercoloured flower & leaves using the Inked Flora die set, and then adhered them on white card base using foam tape. For a tiny butterfly,  I used the Painted Butterflies stamp set.

PPP September Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh September 2018 Product Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Justine Hovey’s blog you are on the right track.

My cards today, I am featuring Autumn Wreath Stamp & Die Set, Thanks Leaf Shaker Die, and Small Stitched Foliage Dies among the new products.

For my first card, I used beautiful Autumn Wreath Stamp & Coordinating Die Set. I stamped the Autumn Wreath on watercolour paper using light colour dye ink, watercoloured it with Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set, and then die cut it with the coordinating die. I made no-line watercoloured wreath.
I blended on the bottom part of the white panel with Spiced Marmalade & Scattered Straw Distress inks, added some stamped leaves & water droplets. I then stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Wreath set in black.
I wrapped the wreath with a natural twine, and then adhered it on the sentiment panel using foam tape.

For my second card, I used Thanks Leaf Shaker Die & Small Stitched Foliage Dies. I die cut Thanks Leaf from the centre of A2 sized watercolour paper panel, and then inlaid all pieces in place. I die cut several Small Stitched Leaves from watercolour paper, and then adhered them to the panel as shown in the picture using fine tip glue pen.
I applied inks over the panel using mini round ink blending tool – I used Festive Berries, Scattered Straw, Crushed Olive, and Tea Dye Distress inks. I then brushed all over the inked panel using a wet paint brush. Once the panel was completely dry, I added white & brown ink splatters. I decorated maple leaf with some jewels – Espresso, Raspberry, Marigold.
