Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Altenew Whimsical Wonder Release Blog Hop. I’m so happy to be a part of this amazing blog hop! If you arrived here from Tricia Schaden’s blog you are on the right track! (Tie-dye image source from Pinterest) Google said that tie-dye is a trend that was hugely popular during the pandemic last year when everyone was stuck at home and trying different DIY things – colouring clothes in multiple shades was one of them. However, it seems that now everyone is obsessed with the style. Yes, tie-dye is still one of the biggest trends in 2021. So I made faux tie-dye background with brand new Tie Dye Motifs Stamp Set! Oh, it was SO FUN!! For these faux tie-dye backgrounds, I ink blended onto whole A2 watercolour paper pnael with light coloured Distress inks first. Next, I applied darker coloured Distress inks to stamps, sprayed water over the inked stamps, then stamped them on the panel. As you know, Distress inks react with water. First card: I applied Victorian Velvet Distress ink to whole panel. For Distress ink stamping with water, I used Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, Tea Dye and Victorian Velvet. I added Hibiscus & “hugs” sentiment on the centre of the card.
Second card: I applied Tumbled Glass Distress ink to whole panel. For Distress ink stamping with water, I used Peacock Feathers, Crushed Olive, Wild Honey and Broken China. I dry embossed the panel with the Mod Squares 3D Embossing Folder. I added Leafy Wreath & “Thanks” sentiment banner on the centre of the card.
Third card: I applied Scattered Straw Distress ink to whole panel. For Distress ink stamping with water, I used Fossilized Amber, Tea Dye, Festive Berries and Victorian Velvet. I added “Thinking of You” sentiment & outlined rose die cut on the centre of the card.
Last card: I applied Milled Lavender Distress ink to whole panel. For Distress ink stamping with water, I used Festive Berries, Fossilized Amber, Seedless Preserves and Victorian Velvet. I dry embossed the panel with the Ranunculus Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder. I added “Thanks” sentiment on the bottom of the card.

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Coneflower Release Blog Hop. I’m so happy to be a part of this amazing blog hop! If you arrived here from Agnieszka Małyszek’s blog you are on the right track! Extend a hand in gratitude and friendship with this delightful floral layering set. This stamp set features two beautiful layering coneflowers. For ease of use, we have included two coloring layers for each part of the flower: the flower center, petals and leaves, and stem. The larger flower has three color layers for the petals.
The Build-A-Flower: Coneflower special edition stamp and die set is only sold as a bundle. It includes one 6″ x 8″ clear photopolymer stamp set (24 individual stamp images) and one coordinating die set (2 dies).
I stamped layering Coneflowers onto white cardstock using several dye inks. I just wanted to make (kind of) no-line stamped flowers so I stamped outlined flowers using Sand Dunes first. I then chose reddish-pink and yellow for my main color scheme. Pink flower:(light to dark) Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Grapevine Yellow flower: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine and Caramel Toffee Stamen: Rocky Shore and Espresso Leaves: Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades. For the sentiment, I stamped it on kraft cardstock using Jet Black dye ink, then trimmed it using small oval tag in the Handmade Tags die set.

Hello crafty friends! I’m so happy to know the new papercraft company, ALWAYS! And Today, I will introduce ETC Paper through my card – they were kind enough to provide gorgeous paper packs recently. I have a floral basket card with their beautiful colour cardstock called “Colorplan Rainbow Assortment Cardstock“. To better express the colours, I used the Altenew Garden Picks 3D layering flowers die set! I used (dark to light) Scarlet, Bright Red, Hot Pink and Candy Pink for the main flower. For these tiny flowers, I used (dark to light) Mandarin, Citrine and Sorbet Yellow. I used Lockwood-Green and Park-Green for these leaves.
This rainbow colour pack is so beautiful!! Thank you so much ETC Paper!!! I can’t wait to try the glitter paper! :D
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all! Love Love Love RejoicingCrafts
Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Coral Sunset Release Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Rachael Shedeed’s blog you are on the right track! In March, Altenew released a gorgeous Coral Sunset Outline Stamp Set as their Paint-A-Flower.
I started by stamping the Coral Sunset onto watercolour paper panel using black pigment ink. I coloured the stamped image with Altenew liquid watercolours: (Flower petals) Crimson, Ruby Red, Purple Wine and Paper Bag (Leaves) Mixed with Lime and Espresso. I love olive green from Lime and Espresso. :D For the bottom of the card, I decorated with Dotted washi tape – it is one of my favourite washi tapes!
