SSS Sending Love

Hello again!
(This is my second post of the day, for the MFT May Release Countdown Day 3, click HERE.)
For my second post today, I created a spring flower card with the SSS Sending Flowers stamp set and Forget Me Not Flowers & Friends Of Life die sets.
To create this card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using the Stitches Rectangle die. 2) Stamped flower cluster image from the Sending Flowers set on the panel randomly with some dye inks: Rose Apple, Lemon Zing, Clementine, and Rosie Cheeks (so beautiful colours!!). 3) Watercoloured around stamped areas lightly with Antique Linen Distress ink and a wet paint brush. 4) Die cut flowers and leaves from white & coloured card stock using the Forget Me Not Flowers & Friends Of Life die sets – I used Sunshine, Doll PinkGreen AppleMint card stock. 5) Stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Blooms set in black pigment ink.
with these two Forget Me Not Flowers & Friends Of Life die sets, we can easily make beautiful petunias!!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely weekend!!

MFT May Release Countdown – Day 3

Hello crafty friends, blessed Sunday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 3.

My card today features the Ocean Pals Stamp Set & Die-namics along with other MFT products.

Here are my easy to follow watercoloured sea scene tutorial with step by step pictures. :)
I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using stitched rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 29 Die-namics. I placed the Ocean Waves Die-namics on the panel, then die cut them.
I watercoloured 4 pieces of the panel (from the bottom) blue using Peerless watercolors, and then made sunray on the top part using the Radiating Rays stencil and Scattered Straw Distress ink. I made self-adhesive sheet using double-sided tape.
I removed the tape from the sheet, and then adhered all pieces on the sticky paper panel.

I stamped and watercoloured all sea creatures from the Ocean Pals stamp set, die cut them with the Ocean Pals Die-namics. Once the background panel was dry, I mounted it on top-folded Primitive White card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown to the card front using foam tape.
Make sure to check out MFT Blog for all the info for today along with links to all the other DT member’s blog posts.

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun! Have a wonderful day!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Altenew – Hugs

Hello again! (This is my second post of the day, for the MFT WSC 330, click HERE.)
I’m up on the Altenew blog today with my faux watercoloured hugs card using the Garden Treasure stamp set and the Inline Alpha die set.

To create the card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using A2 sized rectangle panel die. 2) Stamped leaf from the Garden Treasure set randomly onto the panel with some green colored Altenew dye inks: Evergreen, Forest Glades, Frayed Leaf, Bamboo, Parrot, Olive, and Moss. 3) Ink blended the edges of the stamped panel with Mowed Lawn Distress ink and mini ink blending tool. 4) Brushed all over the panel using a wet paint brush – Altenew dye ink is lightly mixed with water before the ink was dry. 5) Die cut the word “hugs” from white card stock using the Inline Alpha die set five times each alphabet, and then glued each alphabet thicker using fine tip glue pen. 6) Mounted the panel on white card base using glue tape, then added the sentiment die cuts on the bottom part of the card front using fine-tip glue pen. 7) Embellished with a few clear droplets.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!
