Flora & Fauna: Hello

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!!
Today I want to share with you a watercoloured “Hello” card that I’ve made using the Flora & Fauna Wildflower Seeds and Snail Mail stamp sets.

Here is what I came up with:
I love watercolour! I love it, you know!! I stamped leaves (from the Wildflower Seeds and Snail Mail sets) on watercolour panel using some green & blue Distress inks: Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, and Mermaid Lagoon. I then freely brushed the stamped images with a wet paint brush – Distress inks react with water! (Oh, It was so fun and I just love it!!) I stamped butterflies & dragonfly from the Wildflower set on white card stock in pigment black ink, then fussy cut them. I stamped the sentiment “hello” from the Texture set on the bottom right corner of the watercoloured panel in pigment black ink. Lastly I mounted the main panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added butterflies and dragonfly around the sentiment area using foam tape. I also added Nuvo Glitter Drops.
I want to breathe fresh air in this leafy forest! :D
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

PPP Sea Friends

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
Today I want to share with you a fun shaker card that I’ve made using the PPP Sea Friends Stamp Set.

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping adorable sea creatures from the Sea Friends set on white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I then coloured them with Copic markers, die cut them with the Sea Friends coordinating dies. Next, I die cut the Scallop Rectangle Frame from ivory card stock, and then adhered the acetate behind the frame using double-sided tape. I ink blended on the watercolour paper with Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves Distress inks, and mini ink blending tool, and then lightly brushed with water, added opaque white ink splatters. Once the blended panel was completely dry, I adhered the sea creatures on the panel using fine tip glue pen. I mounted the “under the sea” scene on top-folded ivory card base using double-sided tape first, added some clear sequins, then covered it with the scalloped rectangle frame using foam tape.
Ta-da!! I stamped the sentiment (from the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set) inside the card. :D
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Altenew: Sketchy Floral

Hello crafty friends!
I’m up on the Altenew blog with my floral cards using the newly released Sketchy Floral stamp set.

For my first card, I heat embossed the flower from the Altenew Sketchy Floral set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in white, then coloured them with Distress inks. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment and then mounted it on white card base using glue tape. I added water droplets using glossy accents.

For my second card, I created the subtle floral background. I stamped the outlined flower from the Altenew Sketchy Floral set on watercolour paper panel with distress inks, and then freely coloured them with the same colours. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiments on the bottom right corner of the watercoloured panel using black pigment ink.

For my last card, I stamped the image on the patterned paper in the 6×6 Reflection Paper Pad in black pigment ink, and then coloured it with the Artist Markers Set A. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “hugs” from black card stock. I mounted the floral panel on white card base using glue tape first, and then added the sentiment die cut on it using foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
Welcome to the Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop!! We have 18 brand new stamp sets, dies, and 12 gorgeous new ink colours in July! If you arrived here from Chari Moss’s blog you are on the right track!
For my first card, I used the new Baby Balloon stamp set. I stamped the outlined image on watercolour panel using Sand Dunes dye ink, and then coloured it with Distress markers and water brush. I then traced the lines using Copic Multiliner Black.
I really want to experience the exhilaration of a sunrise hot air balloon flight. It must be so peaceful yet exhilarating!!

For my second & third cards, I used the new Layered Blossom Cover A & B dies.
I die cut the Layered Blossom Cover A from white card stock, mounted the die cut panel over sticky paper panel, and then applied fine glitter powders. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “hugs” from metal gold card stock using the new Script Words dies five times, and then glued them together using fine tip glue pen.
I die cut the Layered Blossom Cover A from the Apple Red card stock, Layered Blossom Cover B from the Orange Cream card stock, and then mounted them on the Spicy Yogurt card base using foam tape. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the new Sketchy Floral set on black card stock in white, cut the small banner. So simple and easy!!

My fourth & fifth cards, I used the new Pretty Pansies stamp set along with Halftone Circles stamp set.
I randomly stamped layered pansies & halftone circles from white paper panel with several dye inks:
Purple pansies: (from light to dark colours) Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris
Pink pansies: Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite (new colours)
Yellow pansies: Citrus Burst, Maple Yellow, Honey Drizzle (new colours)
Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Bamboo, Forest Glades
I then mounted the stamped panel on yellow card base using foam tape. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the word “Thanks!” from the Halftone Circles set on red card stock in white.
