Hello crafty friends! I am so thrilled to be the featured guest for Newton’s Nook Designs today!

For my cards today, I am featuring an adorable Holiday Foliage stencil along with the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set.
To create the card, I cut kraft card stock to 3″ x 4.5″ using rectangle panel die. I then placed the Holiday Foliage stencil over the kraft panel, and then applied the white embossing paste using palette knife. I added the clear glitter to the embossing paste while they’re still wet.
Before mounting the main panel, I stamped small Christmas images from the Snow Globe Scenes set on top-folded card base using Memento Desert Sand dye ink. I decorated the card base with red check ribbon & jingle bells, and then mounted the kraft panel using foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set.

For my second card, I used the Holiday Foliage stencil in a fun way. I tried to create a no-line watercoloured card with this stencil.
I used mini round ink blending tool to colour the images with Antique Linen Distress ink first.
I then coloured each inked image with several Distress inks and water brush: Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Rusty Hinge, Crushed Olive, Vintage Photo.
Ta-Da! I am very pleased with the outcome!!
Be sure to check out the Newton’s Nook Blog this week for lots of fun holiday inspiration, and I’ll be back on Friday with another Christmas project for the Blog hop!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
